I've visited the Low Brow a few times over the last several years and have always walked away happy. From brunch to lunch to dinner, the menu is solid with several tempting options; I've really liked everything I've had here. The service is very helpful and accommodating and the atmosphere is always relaxed and low key. I highly recommend the Low Brow for a late lunch on the weekend. You won't regret it.

I had the salmon and a salad. The salad was much larger than expected and was almost a meal in itself. The salmon was cooked to perfection. There are many craft beers on the menu too.

Top notch craft beers... hazy IPA, bold porters, unique sours... a fun social neighborhood vibe.. less industrial than Fair State which is nearby... definitely a repeat place

I requested non-dairy and gluten-free preparation of my salad. My meal arrived typically prepared with cheese and ranch dressing. Then I had to wait a long while for a replacement and it was of a smaller quantity than the original salad. Very noisy

We went here for the first time following a baseball game. We were seated right away and the service was good. We ordered potato leek soup and an appetizer. The soup not only didnât have any potatoes but never saw a leek either! Basically what we got was a white sauce with no flavor. Most disappointing, especially since it was the soup of the day. We also ordered their bacon tots which were really tasty and hot. When we got the bill there is an extra 3% added on to âcover their employee benefitsâ, or close to that wording. Across the street at a different restaurant you donât see that extra 3%. Ok place, probably will not go back.

Yes, Matt's totally has that dive bar vibe. The place is old and it almost feels like you are stepping back a couple decades when dining inside. Order a jucy lucy and fries, but know that the order of fries is enough for a small family and they are wonderful. The do have some beer selections and the sodas are served in the can, no cups here. Actually no plates either, just a red basket of awesomeness. Expect to wait, it is almost always busy here and the space is certainly not large. Over the last few years, the servers seems to have gone downhill, but you aren't here for the servers. If you visit Minneapolis, make a point to stop by Matt's for a unique experience.

The Local celebrates two decades of enduring loyalty and adoration for its many offerings, from an 80-foot bar featuring a hand-carved back bar, numerous nooks and crannies for exchanging secrets, and ample space in the Whiskey Lounge for telling flat-out
We stopped in here for a late dinner on a Saturday night in August and had the street seating. Our service was prompt throughout our meal. The beer selection was decent, and my shepherd's pie and my friends' sandwiches were great. The fries were of outstanding quality - top notch.

This is the first time at the restaurant. Went there with our daughter and her friend. The fish and breading were outstanding and the fries were equally as good. The only thing that didn't make the grade was the coleslaw. Not my idea of coleslaw.

"We don't make beer for everyone. Beer for everyone is beer for no one. Our philosophy? Make great beer and food. Have fun. Give a Damn about your community. Be independent. Don't be a dick. Really, our philosophy is better poured than spoken or written.
Large brewery with excellent food. Typically breweries are not known for the menu, but Surly sets a new standard that is hard to beat. Food is perfectly cooked, ample portioned, and extremely tasty. Recommend the brisket with Brussels sprouts and black eyed peas. Large number of brews on tap. Family friendly and cafeteria style seating. Outside seating with large screen TV.

New British pub in Minneapolis
I would definitely recommend calling ahead, no matter what day because seating is limited. It saved us an hour wait. Parking is so so, we parked around the corner on a side street, up a hill. When we arrived we were greeted and brought to our table right away. Our waiter was very personable and very attentive. The one downfall is it is very loud and hard to hear the people you are with. The onion and bacon dip was amazing. Steak sandwich melts in your mouth. The braised beef was a tad dry but still good. Overall, it was worth the stop.
