This restaurant was recommended to us by locals. It opens at 17:30.We were in the mood for schnitzel. I had the regular portion and myHusband had the "RiesengroÃe" size which translated is "huge" and itWas. It took up the whole plate! The dinner was wonderful. It cameWith a lovely little appetizer and a fresh salad then the main dish.The only problem is that we were so full we had to take some home.Would definitely come back here again to eat! I would recommendReservations as it isn't that large inside. We were lucky the night weCame and there was room for us.

Part of the Karma Bavaria resort it is open each evening serving a wide range of beers, cocktails etc. they offer nuts and nibbles and it is friendly and welcoming. Thename Wolpertinger comes from a mythical Bavarian creature that seems to be part duck, part rabbit, part deer and good at drinking.

Visited here a couple of times while on holiday in SchlierseeIt open's each evening at 5pm serving a wide range of beers, wines, gin's etc Although small - it is friendly and welcoming.

Der Berggasthof Taubenberg kann über zahlreiche kurze Wanderungen und Radltouren, für ganz eilige sogar mit dem Auto, recht fix erreicht werden. Aufgrund der Lage auf einem der letzten AuÃenposten der Bayerischen Voralpen bietet sich schon von der Terrasse aus ein prima Ausblick ins Bayerische Voralpenland, das Panorama vom hauseigenen Aussichtsturm ist dann aber noch eine Stufe besser (evtl. muss beim Wirt nach dem Schlüssel gefragt werden). Bei gutem Wetter ist selbstverständlich die Panoramaterrasse die erste Wahl, aber auch die Stuben sind sehr heimelig. Bestellt wird im Eingangsbereich an der Kasse, das klappt bei den Getränken zumeist noch ganz gut, beim Essen artet das ganze jedoch allzu häufig in ein veritables Chaos aus, bei dem am Ende keiner mehr weiÃ, wer denn jetzt welches Essen bekommt. Das ist ein bisserl schade, weil das Essen qualitativ voll überzeugt; meine Rindswurst war ausgewogen abgeschmeckt und knackig, der Beilagensalat hervorragend (inkl. leckerer Sprossen) und das Ganze sogar noch (mit unter 10 Euro) recht fair bepreist. Ein Besuch der sich lohnt !

The bar/restaurant is on the side of the hotel. Small place, I would say 20 pax, small open kitchen. The menu is small but all is made with fresh ingredients. The wine card is good as well. We enjoyed our evening much and had good food. A must visit when you are around. I strongly recommend.
