Stopped in with business associates for dinner. Ordered some fried calamari, but was more breading than calamari and it was a very long wait for this appetizer to come out. I ordered the pork ribs; good flavor, but a bit dry. I ordered a side of mashed cauliflower, but it turned out to be a lot of potatoes blended into it. They should indicate that on the menu. One of my associates ordered a prime rib, but he wound up being served a ribeye. He just kept it since it took a while to get it. My other associate had a fried shrimp dish which she said was not flavorful. For dessert we ordered a slice of peanut butter chocolate pie which was good, but took a long time to get. We went to eat about 5:00pm and the restaurant didnât have many people, so I donât understand the slow service. Hello jeepdad1956,We have taken your concerns and shared them with our management team and which includes our Executive Chef and back of the house management. We are making adjustments to our menu and taking steps to ensure our service staff is properly trained so that wait times are minimal between app/entree/dessert. We want to thank you for taking your time to share your review with our team and hope that you will come back and visit us!Sincerely, Daniel NealGeneral ManagerPecan Grill & Brewery 500 S. Ate dinner here one night while in town for business. Ordered the corked bats for an appetizer, and the green chili strips were delicious with a good amount of heat. We also ordered the green chili wings, a little heavy on the breading for my liking but still tasted very good. Different plates were ordered all around for dinner, from green chili burgers to nachos, Monte Cristo sandwich, and all was enjoyed by everyone. The beer was cold, sports were on TV, and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Main Streets newest brewery is pretty cool. Indoor/outdoor seating. Beers. New Mexico wine. Spirits. Food truck. Pleasant location. My IPA tasted fresh, more bitters than hops flavor. My wife enjoyed a light blond ale.

This is a lovely new farm market/deli/local product place. Large covered patio out front, clean new facility and very friendly helpful staff. They carry locally roasted coffee, cheese, locally sourced meats (pork & beef) and produce. They currently have boxes of chilies. All of this part was 5 stars. This is three stars - I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich and a Roasted Zucchini wrap to go both at $7.95. There was nothing "wrong" with the Roast Beef it was just uninspired and plain with little to recommend it. The Zucchini wrap was 2 stars and nearly inedible, except for the roasted zucchini itself. The zucchini had exuded so much liquid the wrap was totally soggy and falling apart the cheese was slimy mush and the spinach water logged and wilted. For nearly $8 I had expected better. I will stop in for the vegetables and maybe cheese but I will pass on the sandwiches.

This is a small, non-descript place popular with both locals and visitors. Living in Albuquerque my husband and I have many, many brew pubs to choose from but like sampling when we travel. The night we were at High Desert, it was very crowded both on the patio and inside at 6:40. There were around 8 brews from which to choose and we had one of the two IPA's. It was good but nothing special. Prices vary dependent on the brew but are reasonable. The menu is typical for this type of place with appetizers, quesadillas, burgers, sandwiches and green chile stew.My green chile cheese burger was very good as was my husband's mushroom swiss chicken sandwich. However, my side salad was just shredded lettuce and a few chopped tomatoes and his fries were very tasty and non-greasy but a very small serving. Portion sizes are average - although we saw gigantic portions of nachos being served - and prices are reasonable. Our server was rushed and not particularly attentive, but friendly. One negative was the over an hour wait for our food. We also had to ask for water refills and while other tables received ice water with lemon, ours was warm and minus the lemon. When we were finally served, our waiter said that there was only one cook in the kitchen. Maybe this could have been avoided, maybe not but it puts a damper on the overall experience.

Visited this little Pub in Mesilla and loved the burger I had and the beer! Nice atmosphere with both outside seating and inside. Very friendly staff!
