The Sail & Anchor was recommended by a local as a good local for sea food. We enjoyed the atmosphere but not much else. 60 minutes after ordering we checked to find it had been missed. We have two seafood platters for two between two couples. The prawns, fish and mussels very edible but the salt and pepper squid was unpalatable. At the end of the night we had only an apology for our 90 minute wait. With the recommendation I can't say that our experience was indicative of the norm here but I was disappointed. Hi Trevor. Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with us and I apologise that it was a negative one. Feedback is how we grow as a pub and it is also how we know when things have gone awry. I will make sure that this matter is investigated further. I would love the opportunity to be able to discuss this with you in more detail, if you could email us at [email protected] so we can get in contact. Thanks again for taking the time to let us know about your experience. We hope that future meetings are more positive.Regards,Drew

The original fish pub and leader of the pack, dishing out great beer, tasty treats and fine music since 1996. This true Fremantle icon has been a destination for many a year, welcoming families, corporates, hipsters and all-comers, through the doors of th
Very casual, live music nights, food is average but the menu has a range of seafood, fish & chips always a safe bet. The "mice" are great as an appetiser (very, very hot spicy!). The Clancy's house white is excellent value. Outdoor eating area at back and the kids can run around in the adjoining park. Smoking corner under front verandah. Always jolly (backpacker?) staff.Hi HarryThanks for your feedback. Good to hear you had a great experience and enjoyed your meal!ThanksMadi DunneManagerClancy's Fish Pub Fremantle

Met some friends for lunch here. Quite a large establishment. Tables inside, outside and covered outside . I had caesar salad with fries which was very fresh and well dressed. Not too much dressing. There was also a pizza and salad and burger and sweet potato wedges ordered. Didn't have to wait too long for our food to arrive. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would go againThank you so much for taking the time to write a review and we really look forward to seeing you back at The Left Bank soon.

Settled down in a business and residential district, just up from the Canning Bridge, she has a very strong local customer support who love all things fish and beer. A recent refit has the locals thrilled and a whole new customer is ready to be embraced i
Our Family lunch included a senior Lady with walking frame and we were disappointed that there did not seem to be facilities for disabled, had to carry zimmer frame up stairs and assist Grandma which was fine but no disabled parking to be seen and no disabled toilet?Very noisy as football fans having a drink while waiting for stadium bus.Everyone seemed to enjoy food although the Tasmanian salmon which was very nice seemed a bit pricey at $32 for small piece of fish, a spoonful of picked beetroot etc and a swirl of what was said to be yogurt. Also Margaret River is not the only wine region in WA would have been nice to see at least one white from the Plantagenet region eg West Cape Howe SSB is always a good choice.

In the heart of Essex Street in Fremantle, The Whisper Wine Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic evening or a few glasses of finely chosen wines. We focus on Australian wines but offer a fine selection of French, South African, New Zelander and It
Wines from AU$45 a bottle. They have a good wine list and a good menu of light or share plates.Friendly service, but American Express cards are not accepted.Food and drinks are ordered and paid for at the ground floor bar. Our meal was served to our table.Seating is available on the pavement, inside on the ground floor or on the first floor.Food is delicious, but the cheese fondue doesn't have a heat source under it, so the cheese solidifies before yiu finish it.Worth going to, it's a different experience.

We're pretty proud of our Fremantle brewery and we welcome visitors from far and wide every day. Grab a Pale Ale and a pizza and soak in the brewery chaos or wander out into the backyard to enjoy your beer and nosh in the sunshine. You could also head to
Wow! What a venue! The atmosphere, the staff, the food, the variety in drinks! And most of all, was super kid friendly! There was a face painter in the corner. We ordered nachos and fries. And tried all the different beers. Was fantastic!!Our first time here visiting from Sydney, the place was buzzing. We hope to visit next time we are in Perth!
