The Mekong Delta (Vietnamese: Đồng bằng Sông Cửu Long, "Nine Dragon river delta" or simply Vietnamese: Đồng Bằng Sông Mê Kông, "Mekong river delta"), also known as the Western Region (Vietnamese: Miền Tây) or the South-western region (Vietnamese: Tây Nam Bộ) is the region in southwestern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea through a network of distributaries. The Mekong delta region encompasses a large portion of southwestern Vietnam of over 40,500 square kilometres (15,600 sq mi). The size of the area covered by water depends on the season. The region comprises 12 provinces: Long An, Đồng Tháp, Tiền Giang, An Giang, Bến Tre, Vĩnh Long, Trà Vinh, Hậu Giang, Kiên Giang, Sóc Trăng, Bạc Liêu, and Cà Mau, along with the province-level municipality of Cần Thơ.

I stopped by here to grab a drink and it was a good setting, music, chill. They donât have food so itâs just a bar but they do take care which is a plus.

A small rooftop bar with a nicely decorated indoor area and a well laid out outdoor terrace with great views over the rooftops. A nice quiet area to enjoy a drink with a good selection of bar snack/meals available. A drink here is a great way to finish a day's exploring. Wandering around Hanoi we stumbled across Au Lac and are so glad that we did! Excellent local Vietnamese food (with vegetarian and gluten free options(contaminant risk possible but I am coeliac and had no issues)) and the Dalat red wine (Vang Dalat - premium bottle) was one of the best wines we've had in a really long time! The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Cannot recommend this place enough - you have to try it! Perfect place to end our travels around Vietnam!

This place is amazing! Beautiful views, great cocktails and amazing service from manager Andy, cheeky Eric, Liam and the team!! Such lovely people and fabulous cocktails! Saxophone player and violinist added an extra fabulous touch to an already perfect setting! Would definitely recommend to everyone! Thank you all for a fabulous time!
