We went looking for bar nachos and found exactly what we were looking for at Betts Gold Coin Sports Tavern. They only serve wine and beer, but they have a good sports bar menu. The service was good and the waitstaff friendly. Food came out of the kitchen quickly even though the floor was busy. Since the locals like the place it must be good. We will go back the next time we are in town. Safe travels. Cheers.

They may have beer, but this is like going to a cafeteria to drink. Harsh bright lights, hole in the wall place. Hard wooden benches. Not welcoming. But if you just need a beer, then push through the awkward feeling walking in.Hi Cindy, Thanks for the feedback. My husband and I opened 6 months ago and did not have time to do all our projects we wanted to do immediately. The place was originally a photography studio and thats why the lights were so bright, we have since fixed this problem in a creative way. Hopefully you will come back and see our updates sometime. My adult son and I stopped in about dusk and the kitchen had closed. They made an exception and cooked up a couple of great hamburgers with all the trimmings. We added a couple of cold beers and it was very enjoyable. The people we friendly and the food served quickly. It is a locals place that made us feel right at home. As a pilot myself I enjoyed the decor which was of the flying history of the area (airport was across the street). I look forward to the next time I am in the area.
