The Red Post Inn is an historic location that has interests dating back to the 9th century due to its association with local smugglers and their demise at the famous Red Post, thankfully we are now just an country restaurant/pub that offers good food and
You will find yourself doing 60mph as you pass this pub. What ashame that is as you will never experience this little gem. So my wife and I visited, we ordered drinks. They have limited edition ale, (need I say more). Chatted barman, who was warm and inviting. Turned out to be the manager. At the table we ordered our food but me being a awkward sod, changed my mind. This was no problems a d the change was made to a special which was plaice. The food arrived. The plaice was cooked perfectly. The accompliments were chosen to create a rounded dish. Finishing with the chilli ginger and lemongrass relish which ignited a flavour explosion in my mouth. I would argue the chef's are actually culinary wizards from Hogwarts. You must go here. Google it and sat Nav it. The sat Nav will take you just down the road. But believe me it will be 100% worth it.

The Molesworth Arms re-open for business in Dec 2015 after been shut up for 2 years! Our simple aim & ethos was to run a friendly pub that consistently serves good food, local ales/ciders, quality wines in a comfortable & relaxing environment. We build cl
Limited opening hours means that you really need to check beforehand and book to avoid disappointment. Welcoming hosts and attentive staff. Excellent local ales on tap and wines to suit most palettes. Perfectly cooked duck breast with a hint of Far East fusion, blackberry and apple - yummy. My sea bass was the best I've ever had - fresh, tasty and succulent. Lemon posset that I was VERY reluctant to share. Good value for quality local produce. This out of the way treasure is worth seeking out.

My wife and I have spent a week in Cornwall. This is a beautiful County with lovely, helpful locals. So we decided to round off our week with a nice evening meal at the Wideford Manor hotel restaurant. Without doubt this was probably the worst dining experience we have ever had. The restaurant is nothing more than an aircraft hanger sized cattle market. The noise was deafening, people were pushing and shoving their way to the food. Incredulously we were expected to walk the entire length of the hotel from our table to the carvery. The food was lukewarm and so 15 minutes after walking in we had eaten and walked out. Avoid this place like the plague.

Pub itself is quite grotty , not at all inviting. Quite a big menu . We had cheese ploughmanâs and a lamb pie ... the ploughmanâs wasnât great .. mild rubbery cheese with salad and pickle , however my partner loved the lamb pie. Plenty of outside seating but car park only fits about 8 cars but Budes main car park is across the road. Friend said if sheâd been to bathroom before food she wouldnât have eaten as were filthy .. however I never went so didnât see the bathrooms myself. Wouldnât rush back !

A fabulous setting opposite beach and great to watch the sunset. So many gluten free items on the menu and went back a second time whilst in the area. The fish pie was the first I had eaten out in 15 years as it contained no gluten. It was packed full of fish, piping hot and delicious

You can enjoy delicious home cooked food every day, Try our lovely roast dinners on Sundays and why not round off your dinner with a scrumptious home made dessert!
Stumbled upon by chance and the place was full. Local beer and well kept. It was steak night and Iâm always a bit wary. This was absolutely superb. Perfectly cooked, sides which are extra but again executed well. The cost was bang on and listening to people book for again for the same week speak volumes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Exactly what a pub should be. Thank you chef.
