Szimpla Gastro Bar is a new concept bar & restaurant located under the ibis budget Hotel at Auckland Airport, not far from Mangere Bridge, Manukau. A home away from home for visitors to New Zealand staying in neighbouring hotels and an exciting new social
Been to Szimpla a couple of times now, my Dad frequents New Zealand and we often end up here for a meal in between his flights. The service is average and each time we visit, they insist on seating us in less than desirable tables and we always ask to be moved. The food is good nothing to rave about really, but good value for money as they are generous sizes that I often end up taking half my meal away.

An Indian waiter served us- he was really friendly & welcoming. I ordered Fish of the day pan fried with a butter sauce, husband ordered scotch fillet. The fish melted in your mouth, and the scotch fillet was tender with great flavors. The food was awesome. We used to come here very regularly, the last time we came in, we walked out as the service was shocking. The food has always been great in this restaurant, it's the service of staff that needs improving. If everyone had the service standard of the guy who served us, I believe more people would come back.Thank you O'Ryans for a great night. Thank you for your warm smile and full of flavorsome food for great Value~
We spent a lovely 3 nights. The atmosphere created is so relaxing and the staff and food wonderful. Straight from arrival Sean took a personal interest in our stay and needs, the food was amazing, especially the breakfasts which each day were original and delicious. We would recommend thoroughly and hope one day to be back.

Celsius in Botany Junction is a local hub for all things food and drink while providing top notch function and conference facilities to the surrounding area and beyond! This is East Tamakiâs best location for both informal and formal dining, cocktail func
We booked the upstairs room for a business function.Staff were great and food was lovely. Was very affordable and well catered area.Had toilets and a bar upstairs and great music.Would go back again
Picked up some pizzas after driving back from Ruapehu which was almost 2100. they happened to have a special for 2 large pizzas for $32.They had the same interesting flavours as the one in Pakuranga like the Butter chicken pizza. The pizzas had nice flavour although the pepper lamb one we ordered was a bit spicy. I also quite liked the base cause it was crispy even though it was a pan base. Four large pizzas were more than enough for 6 people.

Thanks to it's location just 5 minutes from Auckland Airport, Post Office has a truly eclectic set of locals. Post Office is perfect for all occasions, but especially after work drinks and food. We have a brand new menu with exciting gastro home made food
Come again dined here for dinner in New Year to relieve the craving I've had all week for chicken dish. But its Terrible. We ordered some starter and Beef quesdillas lamb shanks .Whenever we dine here we feel that the service is usually okay and food was good with big portions which is one of the main reasons we go there every now and then. However, that was not the case last night.Firstly, table is sticky .it seemed that the staff were confused among themselves; we were led to our table by the staff at the counter, a waitress came and took our order, another waiter came and told us that she'll be looking after our table, and once we were done with our meal, a different waiter came to clear our table. Maybe it's how their system is run, but it made us feel as though we were not being properly looked after. Now back to the food.we waiting for half hour got the food .Before just 10 mins. And the food is lack of seasoning.I dont know what happen . Maybe they change the owner or chef ?The lamb wasn't even as tender as they should be, and the amount of mashed potato served with the lamb was terrible. The beef quesdillas were alright - nothing fancy. What a big disappointment! I thought Toby Jug INN is known to "provide quality with quantity" which was far from the reality that hit us big time on our face. We've actually asked the waitress about the quantity of each dish before ordering and she was pretty confident that they would be filling. Quality? Could be better, and quantity? Who are we kidding? We had to come home and cook ourselves a meal to satisfy our hunger after paying from dining out. What a waste of money and time. I usually don't like ranting negatively about a place, but just felt the need to put it out there with an honest review. Not going back to this branch again out of choice for sure.

Enjoyable family meal, for 7 adults and 2 children on a quiet Sunday evening. Not a huge range of meals. Two had the steak, salad and chips, cooked as requested and very nice. Three pizzas, very nice and a good size. The others had burgers. All food was nicely prepared and tasted good.Staff were attentive and nice to deal with. Not very busy, so parking could be a problem at busy times. No parking on the roadside. Watch carefully as the entrance is easy to miss and finding a place to turn around not very easy.

Really nice in terms of what you might expect from a bar. Modest variation of dishes, but solid standards every time. Doesn't seem to matter who is on the grill and their head chef must run a tight ship.Did have a problem once with two people waiting for food while everyone else had been served (granted it was a full house) but those two were happy once they got into the eating part.
