Family meal for hubbyâs 50th. Food was excellent! Cause it was his birthday we got two for one entree and free dessert. Our son had a good choice from the kids menu. The food is greatly improved from when this place was Jacksonâs. Our only complaint was the bar service. We had to ask where drinks were and one that never showed was even on the bill!

Four of us visited for a second time using a voucher. We created our own grazing table of dishes from the menu and shared the joy. Plenty to like and we will be back again! Excellent food and awesome staff. Mondayâs great because children dine free. The only issue I have is the glass windows on a hot, sunny day in the dining area. The sunshine beams through so you find yourself squinting a lot or wearing your sunglasses during dinner which can be uncomfortable. Other than that itâs awesome!Hi Lani G, it was a pleasure to have you and your family dine with us. Weâre so pleased to hear that you enjoy our kids dine free Monday's. A strong supporter of New Zealand with a selection of 6 local beers on tap. This little bar/restaurant is very popular with the locals and the food certainty is part of the deal. We went for the veggie Tacos and calamari salad and we were both very pleased with the well presented dishes.

Dropped in for a quick predinner beer tasting with a friend. The bar tender was super friendly and knew her beers well. Also knew what order to serve them and recommendations to personal taste profiles. We looked over the options for dinner but decided to try a restaurant further down the road. For beer I would recommend this place for a tasting.

My first experience at this place was highly disappointing, but this time it had significantly improved. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection, I can never eat all my meal so when I left food on my plate it wasn't for any other reason than being extremely full.
