Find out what Pub restaurants to try in London. You’ll see double-decker buses and even the River Thames, but while London, Ontario, has clearly been inspired by its British namesake, this is a distinctly Canadian destination. Attractions like Fanshawe Pioneer Village, Banting House and Eldon House will captivate history buffs. Or indulge your, shall we say, slightly less cerebral side with a tour of the Labatt Brewery.

At Crossings we offer a comfortable atmosphere with outstanding friendly service with our twist on traditional pub food. Stop by to catch up with friends over a drink, with a choice of over 30 beers on tap in the summer months and a wide assortment of cra
Visted today with 4 other friends. I ordered the Fish Taco (minus the bruschetta mix). It was delicious. A suggestion would be to serve with lime instead of lemon and maybe some Thai Chili sauce to compliment the asian coleslaw. Our server was Melanie and she was attentive and friendly. Great spot to meet for lunch. Thanks.

Home of fresh seasonal food, as much as possible sourced from local growers and farmers, showcasing best of Ontario craft breweries and rare beers from elsewhere. Friendly, laid back, causal atmosphere catering to those who prefer small and local over lar
Milos' is an exciting place to try many different beers. The prices are a little high, but that's the price you pay to drink anything you want. The food is great, but once again a little pricey. If you love beer, don't skip this place.

Visited Bungalow because itâs close to our house. Very pleased with our visit. Amazingly everyone of our family of five was satisfied with their order. First of all no wait time at 8 o clock. Ample seating. Very nice waitress who suggested custom burger when I added extra toppings to save money. Seared Salmon was well done. Black and blue burger and tuna burgers were so huge we couldnât finish them. Chicken wings were not tiny meeny but good size. Greek pizza and red curry bowl (though not spicy)were good too. And to top it off raspberry cake and moo moo cake were exceptional. Very delightful experience. Ambience nice with music not too loud. Could watch the game without the noise. Light was a bit dull for us. Overall extremely pleased with our dinner considering we opened our fast there and food was served at exact time we asked for.

Our visit started with the hostess telling us we could only have a one hour window and then we would have to leave due to a reservation. Upon agreeing, we ordered the pretzel board which was very disappointing. Would not recommend as you barely get anything for what you are paying. When our entrees arrived we did no see our waiter until he brought over the bills. One meal was cold, everyone wanted another drink, but no one was there to help us. This is a second poor experience for myself at this location and I would not go again or recommend to friends/family.Nicole, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us; we are always happy to hear feedback from our guests so that we can continue to strive to provide the best experience possible for our guests. We stopped into Toboggan brewing in downtown London, ON for lunch and a brew. The brewery does so many things right: their branding is on point, their website is awesome, and the pictures they posted of their lunch menu made us want to stop in. Minors are also welcome, and we had a choice of the awesome tasting room or the perfect patio. We opted for outside. We were quickly served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. A flight of beers hit the spot, and gave us a chance to try their IPA, stout, pilsner, and porter. They were all tasty, the IPA especially good. The food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. London was home to Carling brewery, and still hosts Labatt's, apparently large toboggan hills stood beside the breweries back in the day, lending their name to the brewery. Cool history and good brew!Greetings Christopherk454,We are so pleased to hear about your postive experience at Toboggan Brewing Co. We appreciate that you wrote such a detailed review and thank you for taking notice of the things that we work hard on! We hope you will visit again soon!Cheers,Meg G
Where to eat Asian food in London: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Picked as was beside our hotel. Wife picked the coconut bean curry, I had the schnitzel. Sat quickly, chairs were not the most comfortable in the front room by the bar. Very gracious waitresses, very attentive. The curry was for my wife glorious. The rich flavour of the coconut cream with a mind taste of a Korma was perfect. The only downfall was the doneness of the broccoli was a bit under cooked. The same would go with the broccoli on my plate. The pork was done just right, though the mashed taters could use some seasoning, maybe I am jaded with garlic at home, but it could have used something. The temp on my plate could have come out a bit warmer also. With a glass of wine each, we were very pleased. The wine list could use some Canadian choices big time to mirror the beers listing. The over all experience was very very good.

Heard their burgers were good and was not disappointed! Boyfriend had meatloaf and he said if was good, not amazing or anything but good. He liked that they gave us free popcorn as an appetizer.Food was better than I would usually expect for a bar/pub and prices were very reasonable.

With hearing great reviews, my husband and I decided this restaurant would be a great choice on my birthday. We were Sat fairly quickly, in the corner of the patio. We had a look over the menu and decided on drinks. We waited. And waited. We watched 3 servers come and go to the tables around us. They made eye contact and went back inside. After seeing the table beside us have their second round of drinks while sitting there, after 39 minutes without service, we decided to leave. I let the hostess know as we passed, that our table was free, since we have not had service. She replied "ya, I know, sorry". And walked off. After almost dropping $150, I'm glad we didn't. With working in the industry for many years (both of us), we understand how busy things can get, but this was not the case. We were purposely not served for who knows what reason. Highly disappointed, and have told friends and family our experience. Go somewhere that respects you and is thankful you are spending your hard earned money at their establishment.I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly sorry I am that this happened to you in our restaurant. There is absolutely no excuse for this level of negligence and I am as shocked and appalled as you rightfully are. There was obviously a major breakdown in communication among our staff that night to say the least, and I take full responsibility for their actions (or lack thereof). I wonder if you would be willing to contact me directly so that I can personally apologize? An opportunity to make this right may feel like more than we deserve, but I am asking anyway. Please reach out to me at [email protected] with your contact information and I will respond with gratitude.Vanessa Willis, Co-owner, The Church Key Bistro-Pub

We are a social house, an extended living room, with a focus on strong community roots. The old village pub would have bought fresh fish from the neighbourhood fisherman, their bread from the mill, and the beef and vegetables from the farmer down the way.
The accommodating host in his kilt allowed us to select our table - at a window where we could watch the sunset.MacCoolâs offers daily pours and, on Thursdays, bottles of wine are 1/2 price. One of my favourites is VQA Pinot Grigio by Crush @$17.50( LCBO price is $12.95). They get a small mark up and the customer gets a deal. It was on ice and a wonderful match for the thick cut calamari which was served with lemon and a spicy Thai style chili dip. This lightly dusted preparation is tender and tasty and quite different from the usual crispy rings.Hubby enjoyed a large Cobb Salad and I opted to go with French Onion Soup. The broth was tasty and piping hot, the carmelized onions a little too crisp and the topping of gruyere/ provolone generous and gooey. The desserts sounded too good to skip. One very rich sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, the other a smooth white chocolate cheesecake on Oreo crust with delicious English toffee drizzle and very thin oil based whipped cream. How about some of the real stuff?Throughout, Kelly seemed to be everywhere doing everything for everybody! The duo of The Paddy Stones was entertaining with their toe tapping Irish music. They started @ 6:40 and played for an hour before taking a break! Happy music! Great evening!Donât forget to ask for your CAA discount!Hi there, thanks for the really amazing review, we're glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience at our restaurant and we really hope to have you back again soon!
