Great place with a very friendly atmosphere. If you are a European like myself you can really have the feeling of an American vibrant bar and restaurant at Anchor Inn. I noticed that almost everybody was smoking and there were ash trays. very nice food and extremely friendly staff. If you are tired with the food chains and bars and you want to find yourself in an original place with good music drinks and food go to Anchor Inn Lakeside at Lantana Florida.

Bar service was good but bartenders werenât particularly friendly. My to-go order was missing utensils and napkins. Food was so-do. I will NOT come back mainly because the menâs restroom was filthy. Monday night was booming at Brogues Downunder! âJackieâ hosted Jackie-okie heard a wide variety of songs and some pretty darn good voices! Everyone was having fun!! As for the foodâ my Greek salad with grilled chicken and my husbandâs French dip sandwich were excellent. My brother-in-law had the shepherds pie but wasnât crazy about it. He wished he had ordered the stew. Maybe next time. Weâll be back.

Friends of us who live in the area recommend this and I am glad I tried it. The decor is charming and it is spotlessly clean. Their menu covers from simple sandwiches to great steaks. The dinner entree comes with choice of soup or salad, main course and 2 sides. We all had something different as shown on the menu, however I requested that my pork chop be cooked blackened as opposed to in a cram based sauce and not only did they oblige me it was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. Our server was pleasant and the food came reasonably fast. They will see me again

Definitely not worth it. Went for family dinner (party of 9 / here on vaca) and we werenât happy. The only decent thing were the shrimp platters (fried and coconut with fries. Conch fritters was over fried and tasted like pepper, grilled salmon wasnât fully cooked, rice pilaf was awful, the garden salad tasted like bagged stuff from the grocery store and my son said the burger had an awful after taste (like soapy dish water). Our waitress was good and attentive; but, I wouldnât recommend. Do NOT waste your time nor money!!!!!
