Find out what Pub restaurants to try in Landskrona. Landskrona is a late medieval town in Scania province, Sweden, located at the shores of Øresund, founded at the location of the former Danish fishing village Sønder Sæby in the province of Scania by king Erik VII of Pomerania early in the 15th century. In 1720 the town, like its province, became a formal part of Sweden. Around the Castle build by Danish king Christian III in 1549, Landskrona Citadel, a huge system of moats emerged over the centuries, also in the town's Swedish history. Today the Citadel is famous for its well-preserved moat system, which includes parts of four moats. At the northern part of the Citadel, Sweden's second, and today oldest allotment area is located. Its port is based on a natural chute in the sandy sea floor, despite the lack of any nearby debouching river.

Perfectly situated for sitting on their patio and people-watching. Not to mention excellent staff and wonderful prices. DO try their Ryggbif Special. They are renowned for it, and with good reason. Best steak I have had after living in Sweden for 10 years. Simply outstanding. Do be sure to ask for the hummersås to go with it... I am a very happy repeat customer.

I was on Business in Landskrona and my hosts took me to the Speakers Corner for dinner both evenings we were there as its really the only place in town. Its an old world wood lined proper old school pub with a vast range of beers from all over Europe.Food is varied and plentiful and delicious. I had the Swedish egg pie and bacon which is like a Huge Yorkshire pudding with 1/4" thick strips of bacon that takes me back to my youth as its so tasty. Served with the obligatory linganberries which you seem to get with every meal. Massive portion no way I could finish it. Following night I had the house burger which again was large and tasty , all the usual bells and whistles, pickle, tomato, cheese etc proper home made chips. Not cheap but nothing is in Sweden but given its a one pony show its well worth the visit.
A down to earth, friendly place which serves the typical pizzeria fare and some other food on the menu as well. They also serve a limited selection of different beers, well matched with the food. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the food is good.
