L'Ampolla is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Ebre in Catalonia, Spain. It was created in 1990 by the division of the municipality of el Perelló. It is situated on the coast south of l'Ametlla de Mar, and is an important tourist centre and minor fishing port. The town is served by the A-7 autopista, the N-340 coast road and by a station on the RENFE railway line between Tarragona and Valencia.

We came for a late dinner with friends and we were told they had run out of vermouth. The friendly waiter offered to make a jug of sangria. We ended up having 3 jugs by the end of our dinner. It contained a bit of brandy. What a fantastic sangria. The food was absolutely delicious. Small tapas mainly with sea food. The sepia, mussels, fish carpaccio were the best. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We ended up going there once more for diner and also for a lunch. I definitely would recommend this restaurant. Some of the staff speak English, too!!!!

Stopped in for a long island Ice tea, the service was a bit slow, but the drinks and views were staying for.For something a bit different try the harbour gin, it's locally made and well worth trying.

A really freindly bar with free snacks on arrival, the Mojito's have to be tasted, i don't like them in the UK, don't know what the difference is but they taste incredible.
