Whenever my wife and I want very good "bar food" this is one of our places. Wings are great. Quesadillas are great. Soup, pizza, patte melt, stuffed mushrooms all very good. Ellen....Bar tender is very good. (She also makes their terrific pies) great relaxing place!

Like visiting here occasionally for a drink or a bite to eat. Would eat there more often but I have a few favorites I prefer better. A very nice deck and outside bar to enjoy in the summertime, great view of the river and mountains. Love the very unique furniture and decor, lots of parking.

They need to work on their front of house organization, I'm glad I was feeling patient and stuck around for a table even though just was greeted for a while and then I couldn't tell if the hostess was glad i was there or wished I'd just walk back out. But the menu is great!!! And I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I've eaten here. It's nice to be able to support a local restaurant if we want to watch a game or enjoy the sports bar atmosphere.

Love this place... Every time we're in town, we eat at Hops & Barleys, whether for lunch or dinner (and sometimes both). The menu is varied enough for everyone to find something good to eat, and it has some unique items (burger on a donut). FOOD: Soups are so so good. The Manhattan Clam Chowder was perfectly seasoned, while the 'soup of yesterday' was a mushroom soup that was a perfect mix of mushroom and rice. The burgers are a good size, very tasty and always cooked as ordered. The pierogies and sausage was a good mix of both. Chocolate cake was good but the the layers of frosting were thicker than the cake- but is that a bad thing. Interior/Decor - the bar and restaurant are well separated. The restaurant area is dark and decorated with pictures from the past. Service is always very good.

It's been many years since we've been in Flaherty's. Stopped in for a quick bite on a recent Saturday afternoon. My husband had the steamers and I had the chicken tenders. The steamers were very small. My chicken tenders were a nice size and very good. Beer could've been a little colder. Service was kind of lacking; the bartender didn't seem too interested in refilling our drinks. We might go back and have dinner in the dining room next time....it looked so warm and cozy!

We've been in The Tipsy Turtle Kingston location many times and it's always been enjoyable. We stopped in Tuesday for the Turtle Bite Special and some beers. On Tuesday the Owen Street location Has $2 off Turtle Bites, Wings, Burgers, Cheese Steaks and Vegan Bites... $4 off Old Bay Shrimp... and Coors Light Pints for $2.50. We sat at the bar. For $8.49 we got a pound of Bites extra crispy and with the Sweet Hot Sauce and they were excellent. We also had a small order of Hand Cut Fries with the Parmesan Garlic hot Sauce for $3.49 and they were very good. We split a side of Mac-N-Cheese for $2.99 and it was delicious. In addition to Bites they have appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches and more. Check out their website because they have specials every night of the week. In the front they have a full bar with a great selection of beer several TV's and some tables. In the back they have a few dining areas. The service was good and it was clean including the restrooms. They have off street parking.

I'm glad we had a reservation for five on a Tuesday evening because the place was packed. The Tuesday special is two dinners and an appetizer for only $25. Friendly service, large food selections, big portions, and a great value. Nice craft beer list.

We were visiting to watch The Lords of 52nd Street at the F.M. Kirby Centre, conveniently situated just next door. We'd already eaten so it was just drinks (before and after the show). I was drinking the Yards IPA, she was on the Raspberry cocktail. Both went down well, again and again. We were with a group so didn't really speak to any of the customers but they seemed a good bunch, as were the bartenders who looked after us. They smoke in the bar which I don't really like but there were only a few who did and it didn't spoil our enjoyment. We were last to leave at 2am. That says it all really.

We just love this place, the great experience starts when greeted at the front door by friendly smiling people , once seated the great experience continues with prompt service from the also smiling and friendly wait staff to take our drink order from a huge selection of beers and specialty mixed drinks and then it's time to order the appetizers and they are just out of this world with the captain crunch chicken and coconut shrimp being my favorites but after that just when you think it can't get any better comes a huge selection of great dinner and burger choices which takes me a while to decide because everything in this place is always so fresh and tasty that the only problem that we have ever encountered has been deciding what we want but in the end we always know that whatever we order will be served hot and fresh by a great bunch of wait staff and it all tastes great. I made myself hungry just writing this so it will be off to the arena tonight for a great meal in a great friendly atmosphere.

We are the official Microbrewery/BrewPub of Northeast PA's coal region. Our craft brews are dedicated to the hard working people who have been and still are examples of our rich heritage.
Food is excellent, large portions you can definitely share. Sides are generous. Beer is tasty, frosty, large variety. For some reason they just donât seem to get great servers. Constant different servers coming to your table, and you wait considerably for anything extra (napkins, water, extra dressing). That is my only negative. Suggestion: open Sunday so customers can enjoy your patio/close Mondays!
