The Corner bar is a great place for a burger or sandwich and a couple of drinks. The staff is nice and their service is very good. The apps are also good and reasonable.
Where to eat European food in Kingston: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Food was sub par maybe even 1 star but it was inexpensive, so maybe 2 stars. Beer selection both draft and bottles is impressive. Beer, atmosphere, and service are above average. The bar pizza couldn't possible have less cheese and still be called pizza. The wings were overcooked. Which was weird because the didn't come out hot(temperature). They were dried out, 2 of them were broke the bones were brittle, somewhat charred. The hot sauce had a good flavor. It appeared as if instead of tossing the wings with hot sauce the sauce was drizzled once they were plated.
Been here before & the food was good. Came by today with a friend earlier than kitchen service was available. Gabrielle (Gabby) & her husband are the young proprietor. We enjoyed the wine & beverages from their bar, while Gabby served up a Chocolate mousse dessert she makes herself with Bailey's & Guinness. The atmosphere is warm brick with guitar and architectural element details. Two small patios for alfresco relaxation, cozy library book nook lounge seating as well as table service. Enjoy a 5 story art mural under an umbrella in back or fan cooled covered seating up front to watch sidewalk pedestrians in the historic uptown area steps away from numerous sites open to the public. We were sorry to miss the chef's beef brisket sandwich and mushroom & roasted potatoes Tapas, which are delicious & flavorful. Lovely presentation of their cheese board makes a fun happy hour snack if you want to keep it light before dinner.Modestly priced. Good value.Street parking free after 6pm. About $2 hr. metered before 6. Sunday's free parking.

Stockade Tavern is a must visit when in the greater Catskill Area. We ran our boats from NJ to the Kingston water front. A beautiful weekend getaway. But besides the ride up The Hudson River, the HIGHLIGHT was the Stockade Tavern. It is a craft cocktail and charcuterie lovers paradise. The bartenders crafted exquisite cocktails using the finest ingredients and the charcuterie platters were prepared to perfection. The cocktails, food, ambience and professionals behind the bar where all OUTSTANDING!

We ate here while staying at the Residence Inn next door. The food was delicious, service was friendly and efficient and the prices for the portions were very reasonable. We had the chicken parm and the eggplant parm along with an awesome antipasto salad.

We sampled several beers and two sandwiches: Cuban and the Grilled portabella. Both were very good. I liked the Cuban better. The beers we sampled the hurricane and Fun IPA. Both IPA were good we like the more citrus IPA better; the Fun. The beach area of town was interesting with all the piles of ICE pieces partially melted. Several rooms for different styles. Table and chairs in one and couches and chairs for a more lounge feel.

We really enjoyed seeing a band play while drinking local beers. The beer menu is updated daily & the anchor has a large selection including local ciders. The place is much bigger than it appears. The staff & bartenders were friendly and the food looked great.
