Enjoy a delicious dinner today at Jones River Tavern. We have all of your smokehouse favorites including ribs, brisket, wings, burgers, and more. We have a variety of imported and domestic beers for you to choose from.
We tried Jones River Tavern for something different than our usual dinner places and are we glad we did. It has somewhat of a limited menu, mostly smoked meals- ribs, pulled pork, etc.,sandwiches (although you can order without smoked on just about everything,) pizza, kids meals and appetizers. We both had the smoked brisket sandwich- it was unbelievable ( not that smoked) and not dry at all, it came with a heaping side of fries ( or onion rings $1.00 extra -worth it) and a pickle. The meals looked fabulous as we noticed them as the servers walked by. The Tavern is very clean and has a lot of open space. All the staff is extremely friendly, attentive, & efficient ( we had Meghan C. as our server and she was wonderful). One of the owners stopped by our table and talked to us about the place. She told us that almost everything is hand made fresh daily ( not the desserts though) and that they take pride in their food, service, and the look of the tavern. She welcomes customers suggestions on meals, how to make them better or what needs improvement. She is a down to earth person that wants to make Jones River Tavern a friendly place for families and give them great food, service, and atmosphere at a reasonable price. She ( they) have definitely accomplished that so far. Jones River Tavern is a must try place if you are in the Kingston Ma area.

We have been regulars at the Speedwell for several years now. We usually come in on Mondays for half price wing night. I consider myself a wing aficionado. I have had wings all over the country, including Buffalo, NY. Speedwell has the best wings I have ever had. They are cooked perfectly and come in a large variety of different sauces and rubs. They have different specials every week. We also enjoy Thursdays at Speedwell, beer and burger night. Any beer , any burger for $10. Wicked good deal! The craft beer selection is excellent! Always rotating and usually with a couple hard to find brews. If I had one criticism of the Speedwell it would be the $2 upcharge for choosing a vegetable instead of fries/chips as a side with a burger. The service has been consistently good (Ashley and Nikki). The bar can get crowded, but we think itâs worth the wait on a busy night. The live entertainment is decent...a bit too loud...but decent. We love Speedwell and recommend it if you love great pub food.

We visited this pub last week to have a sandwich and liquid refreshment (coffee for him, and tea with lemon for me)..This was in early p.m...We both had the fish sandwich , his with french fries and mine with onion rings. There was plenty on the plate, enough to take home. The fish was very tasty with cheese, tomato, and lettuce. The onion rings and french fries were equally tasty also. The bill came to about $27.00 not including the tip. The atmosphere is rustic with sport pictures and items on the walls. The bar is on one side and a small dining room is on the other. They have take out and delivery service available. There are specials for each day with catchy titles..The waitstaff is friendly and efficient, we didn't have to wait long for our meal...They have tv's about that were muted so the noise level was low...A very pretty area with a water attraction on the property. There are a couple of shops that are very inviting. Parking is at a premium and traffic tends to be busy in this area as people go in to see the water and wildlife in it. There is a sidewalk on one side only so we had to walk on the street which could present a problem for some and you walk into the property as the entrance is in the back of the building. Would we go back ..yes definitely as we were pleased with this place.

Wife and I went in for a quick beer and kind of felt out of place as in the Regulars do not make you feel comfortable at all.. So we finished our beer and moved on to a much more relaxing atmosphere at another local bar in that same area

Ate here this evening with friends. Itâs been a while since we have been here and we were very surprised! The food was excellent. Started with the Burrata cheese & pesto. Very good. Also tried Chicken Parm egg rolls. OMG these are out of this world delicious. Great football food. Now for dinner. Chicken Alfredo, Pumpkin Ravioli in a sage cream sauce, Fish Tacos (not fried, pan seared) and the Fig & Pig pizza. Everything was fabulous. We were in flavor town. I canât say much about the cocktails, friends had no complaints . Had room for dessert and they did not disappoint , The Whiskey Wiggle you guessed it yumbo! Get away from downtown Plymouth. This place is located in Cordage Park. A must go.

Family went to lunch to celebrate a birthday. Large menu, great service. Some dinners were better than others. Baked fish came with cold mashed potatoes. Rollups and calzone were the hit of the table. Great place to bring children because they have an arcade area for the kids. No soft drink refills offered. Free meal if you're there on your birthday.

Very good food, and great specials too. But no T Bone steaks anymore. Hubby had Ribs and they were tender and delicious. I had the Burger special and it was very good. Easy to get to, great service, and good food for a good price.

Dillon's Local is a cozy watering hole in downtown Plymouth serving delicious comfort food, locally sourced specials, handcrafted cocktails and great, local beer.
We went in a dinner time and were seated immediately. Although not directly on the water, it's very close and the food is so good. Hubby had the Shepherd Pie which he said was excellent, I had the fish tacos which I've eaten lots of places, these were the very best I've ever had. Locally owned, you can't go wrong here!
