We used to go to The Tavern for drinks and found it really relaxing. The staff are friendly, the drinks well priced and, just as important, nice and cold!They play great music and it's not as in your face as many bars along the street. Nice dogs around the place too so well worth a visit.

great little bar on the main strip, land lady is awesome, chatty and helpful. she wants to know your name, spontaneously comes round with a drink saying cheers with everyone in the bar. one of the friendliest places in kanchanaburi. free wifi!

While staying at the VN guest house I had plenty of opportunity to eat at the restaurant. The menu has a good selection of Thai and western dishes. I tried the American breakfast at 100B (good, except that the coffee was instant) and several of the Thai and Burmese main course dishes, washed down with a beer from the local and imported selection. All were flavoursome, some a bit spicy, and all were freshly made and good value for money.Food aside, the standout feature of the restaurant is the view, looking directly over the river. Service is efficient and the staff courteous and helpful.

It was ok. We had a tasty massamam but the serving was super small with only 4 pieces of chicken. Everything else was ok too but following the same theme of small servings. The craft beer selection was good if you wanted to pay 150-200 baht a beer. Service was good.

was recommended this bar so we thought we would check it out, we were not disappointed the atmosphere is great the English speaking staff very friendly and polite . The food is first class and sky sports and pool table what a hidden gem .we were welcomed with open arms by Rob and the boys and even ended up on the fishing trip with the lads great team great bar and food second to none what more can you ask 10 out of 10 for me a must place to go in the town
