Came for their special. Ribs were tender but still with some toothiness (critical to a southern rib critic). The sides were simple but never took away from the star -the ribs. Wines by the two half bottles just right, and from Argentina and Chile were perfect balance to the spicy flavor of ribs. There were enough ribs left for several meals, which is a huge bonus to me.

My wife and I visited this place for lunch, the service was good and the atmosphere great.We ordered our drinks which arrived in good time and we preceded to order our two dishes. We ordered the mini burgers and a place of ceviche....it took over 50 minutes for us to get our food and they never came to ask us if we wanted anymore drinks...The one good thing is that the food did taste very good. Mr Mougle, we sorry about the delay in your order, probably that day was something out of our control. We are glad you enjoyed your experience in Jaco Blu, and hope you come back soon with your wife and have a really good time. Thank you very much for your comment.

This eating establishment was actually called Tiki Bar or Breakers Sports Bar. No matter what it's called, it is located on the beach at Jaco Laguna Resort.We ate her twice during our stay as it is a great place to be able to dine and watch the sunset. There is some bar seating and the rest of the seating are tables on the lawn with concrete tables covered by tiki hut style umbrellas.We ate here twice. The first night we started with one server for all of the tables and he had a hard time keeping up before others showed up to help. The second time there was more staff when we arrived. Both meals I ordered were excellent - coconut shrimp and tiki tacos which were mahi mahi tacos. My wife had stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables and a hamburger. She thought both were very good. Other items that had been ordered by our group were mango shrimp and sea bass which were also good. Would recommend eating here.

To Clarita, Clarito, and all the staff -- Apologies for not reviewing sooner. We had another great time during our stay. We love Clarita's for the food, the atmosphere, the location and the service. The food is a mix of local and American, with other great treats thrown in. There isn't a better place to relax with a drink while watching another amazing sunset, right on the beach. All of the staff work their butts off giving service and taking care of patrons. And it's always a privilege to meet up with old friends we made on previous visits. Don't miss this place when you are visiting Jaco, Costa Rica. Great view, service and food that is cooked on a wood burning stove. The staff who work there are wonderful and make the visit worth the mountain road to get there. I've been there twice now and will be back again and again.

We where wondering around Jaco where to go and we went to the best locals night in town the music with the DJ Carlos Sánchez, the bocas menú, the friendly atmosphere the people the service, it was something I will highly recommend the owners where there making sure that we all have a good time in their bar.To make the long story short...it was great fun.

We came here for the review and was quite disappointed. The service was good but the food was average at best. The fried snapper was over cooked, the guacamole and chips (okay), the fish ceviche (Bla) and tuna tar tar (good). All in all, it was great to be eating in the air conditioned dining room during the hot day! We learned the chef has changed in the last 6 months, so that maybe the problem? Not exactly sure. But we ventured out a few steps down the block and tried Mar y Mar the following day. Marco & Maria holds their own with their family owned restaurant.

We're from Asheville, land of craft breweries so when we picked Jaco, my husband began the web searches for craft breweries there. We were not disappointed with Puddlefish. The beers were excellent. Our fav was the watermelon but they were all good. Brunch was excellent. We had the waffles and burritos. Bottomless mimosas were a great touch to our sunday morning too. They kept our glasses full and stopped even adding oj at some point which we thought was great. The staff was top notch and we will definitely be back. To be honest, we were hesitant about entering another brewery/beer establishment because our experiences with other breweries were subpar. But after agreeing that we just aren't club people, as we stood in a club, we decided to try Beer House out. It was a GREAT decision. Daniel was extremely friendly and the other patrons were too. We talked about our other not so stellar experiences and how we didnt have high hopes for this location. Daniel's selection got me excited about trying a couple other locations before we leave. The options were selected with care and a good palette... It shows. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by. It's a great escape from the Jaco hustle and bustle. The vibe was cozy and the pizza place brought the pizza to us. He took care of all our needs. Thanks for your positive review, I really appreciate it.
