This place is surrounded by picturesque views and is a wonderful place however the service is very poor ... if it wonât for the location it only deserves a 1 star ... management clearly need to train staff on hospitality... cost nothing to greet a customer with a smile

Family run, child friendly pub. Large free carpark. Wheelchair accessible. Large enclosed patio at rear. Dogs welcome in outdoor areas. Smoke free throughout. Large range of drinks served. Hot drinks available. Wall's ice-creams stocked. We cater for larg
We called for lunch and ordered the special of Quiche, Chips and Salad garnish for the very reasonable price of £4, the chips were plentiful and the salad fresh but the Quiche was bland with an uncooked pastry base. The staff were pleasant and she said if we had brought it to her attention she would have changed the meal. It's also sad because it's called The Brewery but there was no traditional real ale on sale.

Only had one drink in here, but it is a very nicely decorated pub and restaurant. It appeared to be popular. It also appears to be a B&B or hotel, and whilst we were sitting drinking we overheard them having to turn people down as they were fully booked.

2 night stay was fine for us, cosy room but not quiet as we were above kitchen extractor fan and owners dog in adjacent room. We had a really good meal in the pub, which couldn't be faulted and we did sleep alright after 10 when dog and fan were quiet. 10 min walk into Ironbridge so good location.

Booked in last minute for the Sunday carvery having read good reviews. Staff were helpful and accommodating and managed to get us a table for 2.30pm. Arrived and the pub was almost empty. It was clearly the end of service. We were shown to a small room round the back where some poorly presented metal vats containing dried up veg were laid out. Beef was dry. Knowing that it was the end of service, they should have refused our booking rather than serve dried up food. It was honestly the worst food experience we have ever had. Such a shame as the bar staff and chef were friendly and welcoming.

Having been rudely told by a barman who did not even look up when we arrived at another Ironbridge restaurant that they were "fully booked", we walked further up the road and discovered The Swan Taphouse. It was a busy Saturday night, but we were welcomed and were shown to what was almost the last available table.Given it was so busy, the order-taking was a little slow, but this gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beer!Once we had ordered, the food arrived promptly and was excellent! There was a live band at 9pm, by which time the place seemed to be emptying, which was a shame.

We had 2 Sunday lunches and a vegetarian Wellington. Sunday lunch good value £10.50 for 2 courses. Food was delicious and piping hot. Chocolate peanut cheesecake was gorgeous. The mushroom Wellington could have done with being a bit larger portion, especially as it was more expensive than the meat meals, however, it was delicious. The people were very friendly and the service was good. Will definitely be going there again soon. Lovely little pub.

We are a friendly run family pub. Where a warm welcome awaits you every time. You can sit outside on the patio or sit over looking the river Severn . Enjoying a nice ice cold drink or have a meal, looking out for the kingfishers or the otters. In the wint
We called in at lunch time for a quick drink after visiting the nearby Tile Museum, and were impressed by the friendly welcome. We came back to eat the following night and had very satisfying meals for decent prices. There was a mixture of locals and visitors, both from the UK and further afield; we heard American and Australian accents. Service was helpful, friendly and efficient. I had the best flavoured faggots ever (if you don't know what they are, think meatballs) with cheesy mash potatoes and mushy peas, topped off with onion gravy- British pub classic!

We popped here on Saturday afternoon for a drink outside as the weather was mild. Itâs perfect to watch the world go by with lovely views. Drinks were nice and reasonable, we didnât eat but the sharing platters that went past looked delightful. worth a visit.

A family Bar & Kitchen showing both Sky Sports and BT Sports. A dog friendly bar. Entertainment every Friday and Saturday
Visited here again this week (July 4th) for lunch and very nice it was to,I had the Roast ham eggs and chunky chips (delicious) and my wife had the scampi, also very nice, there's sure to be something on this menu to satisfy most folk and they have now got a lunchtime menu as well, coupled with the nice welcome we received from a very nice young lady who served us, we really did enjoy our meals.
