Welcome to Finnegan's restaurant and tap room, the oldest continuous operating bar in Huntington. Finnegan's offers traditional pub fair and charm and service that hasn't changed since we were established in 1912.
Stopped here for lunch after being in the village for a Guide Dog puppy training session. Got there a little early before they were set up for lunch but the bartender was very accommodating in getting us seated and set-up. Limited bar food type of menu but what we had was really quite good. Not sure if they have a more extensive dinner menu. Let me bring in my jacketed Guide Dog puppy that I'm raising and socializing, which is very important part of their training and insuring their success as a future service dog.

Such a shame, Vauxhall used to be a fun place, but they clearly don't care anymore. To be out of half the menu by 2:30 pm in a Sunday (including sangria) is just inexcusable. And then to offer zero alternatives is just horrible service. With a limited menu as it is, poor service that also takes forever, and poor planning so that you run out of main menu items, this place is not what it used to be. Oh, and if you still have eardrums, definitely don't sit inside for brunch. Your ears will be bleeding before you get your food. I'm so done with this place.

Looking for delicious pub food in a casual, hip dining atmosphere? This is your place. My family has been coming here for several years now, and we can always rest assured that we will walk away full and satisfied. Before reading this review, please note that it isn't for one visit in particular. To start off, the food is terrific. For appetizers, definitely try the wings, and we always love the nachos. They recently updated their menu and added some tasty tacos that I ordered last time. Can't go wrong with the burger or any of their salads. However, don't order the burgers here; sometimes they have tasted very bland and been overcooked, so if you want a burger, go across the street to Burgerology. I have never encountered an issue with anything I've ordered. The service is good and our waiter knows us very well now. The biggest problem is the atmosphere. It is sooooooo loud. It's very casual and laid-back, but the bar is incredibly noisy. All in all, certainly give this place a try. If you're tired of all the fancier places in Huntington, come here, and the food will not be compromised at this terrific restaurant.

We had a great dinner here this week. Everything about this place is first rate. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our meals. Get the duck empanadas for an appetizer. I gad the swordfish which was grilled and served over s tomato and celery salad. It was wonderful. The cocktails are good and decently strong and itâs light and airy inside. We will be back.
