I don't really have anything positive to say on this location. The restaurant was dirty. The service was terrible. Drink orders were wrong. Ordered a salad and a soup. Took about 20 minutes to come out. Food was truly awful.

Mad Hatter Restaurant and Bar is a full service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a great place to come with friends for a relaxing brunch or after work drinks and apps. The Wonderland Function Room has a capacity of 150 guests for you
Our family was in town for my sons wedding and found the Hatter in his neighborhood. Glad we did we had excellent food including Lobster mac and cheese and some nice Irish specialties. Our waitress was so good and personable we will be back every time we visit our son and his new wife.

It's a great location and nice casual room, drinks were good, now all they have to do is improve on the food. We ordered a variety of small plates. Because they had so many Spanish tapas, we had to try them. The Patatas Bravas, which are suppose to be diced, roasted potatoes served in a paprika tomato sauce, were just plain roasted potatoes served with an aioli on the side. The blistered shishito peppers were overly oily. The salmon lomi lomi was very good and I would go back just for this dish alone. But, the Cajun Shrimp and grits was an oily mess. The grits must have been sitting on the heat for so long, the cheese separated and it was just a greasy mash. And the Feijoada was a skillet of rice and beans, a couple slices of sausage with a too heavy hand of sriracha. I couldn't eat it at all. So, c'mon Trident, if you want to succeed, you've got to do better than this.

It's located inside the South Shore Country Club
Great food, great venue. food was great. Beer batter fish & chips was very fresh and the coating was light and crispy. Loved it. Another friend loved the salmon while a third had chicken carbonara. Only complaint was that the chicken was cut up light and dark meat. Not a good choice. The outdoor seating was great.

After being closed all of last summer, and under "needed repairs" for most of this year - The Olde Salt House adjacent to Atlantica has finally reopened. We were so excited to visit one of our favorite al fresco spots - but so disappointed once we got there. Unattractive benches are the first thing you trip over as you enter the space. Menu is NOTHING like it used to be under the former owners. We ordered Rose wine (it was okay - nothing I'd request the label of) and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were also "just okay" - but arranged on a glass plate that at one time had ice but quickly turned to water. We had to dry off each shrimp before eating. Not a pleasant experience. Doubt we'll ever go back - so sad.

Limited menu but food was very good. Nothing fancy, mostly bar food. Cobb salad was very good as was the chicken club sandwich. Sleeping w service however. I had to remind the young waiter to bring my beer after 15 minutes. Also had to prompt him about our food. He was friendly but obviously not well trained or experienced. We will try again and hopefully the kinks will be worked out

Check out Monday nights, super musicians from 5:30 on playing a number of traditional Irish airs and tunes. We enjoyed the music while sipping a very good Fiddlehead IPA on draft and quite decent martinis. Our table split two orders of haddock bites which were light and crispy, the fish lovely and mild. Pronounced more than quite acceptable by our Scottish fisherman. We ladies split a delightful Reuben, the men folk ordered steak tips and surf n turf, our sisters ordered salads and a veggie quesadilla and split those. The salad girls kept on filching our crunchy, delightful French fries.I like the Snug, it is a small, homely place with the warm welcome of a good Irish or Scottish pub, forward thinking with its beer selection and great food. The bathroom is clean and there is entertainment several nights a week.Highly recommended if you are on the South Shore.
