Had a Butterfly Shrimp basket and it was fantastic. Quite a menu with many choices. Fast service and reasonably priced.

If you are looking for a GREAT burger, Palmer's is the place. They also have deep fried appetizers. Unfortunately, they don't have the kitchen license to serve fresh vegetables or fruit, meaning no salads or fresh toppings on your burgers. This is a popular place with the locals, many have regular groups they meet on a scheduled basis...every Tuesday and Thursday. Summers you can play Cornhole Beenbag Toss in a league or try out horseshoes.

We had been looking forward to bringing our family here for dinner after enjoying a stop for happy hour a while back. The appetizer we had that time was so good and the food we saw go by looked incredible. The restaurant was not overly busy when we arrived for dinner and a waitress stopped by right away. However, she then disappeared for so long we thought perhaps she was gone. My husband had to wait quite a while to get his first drink while the rest of us had ours for several minutes. Our meals took longer than expected but they looked great when they came - the hugest salad with great toppings and 3 sandwiches. Two of us ordered the pomme frites and they were barely lukewarm. Even my teen son said he thinks they must have just been sitting back there for some time before they brought them out. Unfortunately it really took away from enjoying them and I wish I would have said something. Also, the pomme frites are served with a garlic aioli. It didn't taste like garlic, but instead tasted simply like mayo. I had the salmon BLT. A great sandwich served on a rectangular ciabatta bun. The problem was that the salmon was very skinny and almost round so it was like eating a hotdog in a sandwich - way more bread surrounding the skinny salmon filet. Then again at the end of our meal our waitress disappeared for long enough that we thought we were going to have to find someone else to take care of our bill. And lastly, they were out of their IPA which was the one beer my husband was really looking forward to. Overall, we enjoyed it, but slightly subpar from what we expected. We hope they continue to do well as it is a welcome addition in the area, but the execution needs to be better from food to service for our next visit or we may not return.I apologize for the bad experience that you received, it is unacceptable and not to our standards at all. I can assure you that we are all working very hard to ensure that no customer leaves our place having this type of experience in the near future. If you would, please email me at [email protected] and tell me a little more about your visit (date and time) and allow me to do what I can for you to get you to come back and give us another try at providing the quality service we are capable of.

Stopped here with a bunch of relatives following a funeral for our Aunt (our cousin who lives in Hibbing wanted to go here). Other than not smoky (smoking not allowed), this is a typical dive bar ... dark & somewhat dreary. Beer was good & cold. Mugs nicely frosted. Didn't sample any of the food so can't comment.
