This was our first visit to Scale House, located on route 414 on the east side of Seneca Lake, about 10 minutes from Watkins Glen. Nice atmosphere inside, decent choice of beers and a small food menu. We were there for lunch, so we only had pizza and beer. The pizza was very good, I recommend it. The beers were good, service was great. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. I would definitely return for lunch and try something different.
New York State's only dedicated Cask Ale Brewery, specializing in traditional British Real Ale. Fun Tap room serving tastings, pints, halves, growlers and food. Come in for a pint or half and a chat or game of darts, cornhole or other fun thinfs
My husband enjoyed his ale. I did not like the cigar area (allergies). The staff is nice and once the tour bus left we appreciated the quietness.

Fun bar with decent food, get there early on Saturday night before the prime rib runs out! Stick around for the live music on the weekends, and play some pool while drinking cheap beer. Great way to unwind after drinking wine all day.

We heard of this restaurant from another vacationing couple. Plenty of choices in the menu. No frills ambiance but the food portions are huge - you might want to share an entree. Waitress was really friendly. We would go back the next time we are in the area.
