Attended a family wedding at this huge venue. The venue is beautifully decorated and has a large parking area. Very large attendance for this wedding but it was spacious enough to not have people tripping over each other. The buffet food was set up in two sections to accomodate guests on either side of the reception area which allowed for quick access to the food and no long lines. Wait staff continued to also bring out a wide variety of delicious appetizers up until the reception ended. Huge dance floor with great sound system kept hundreds of guests dancing til the end. The bars were staffed with quick and courteous staff who never had more than two or three guests waiting in line for their drinks. Perfect venue for any special event but especially enjoyed it for this family wedding. Close to Hampton Inn Elmwood and easy access from Earhardt Thruway which runs parallel to I-10 from Kenner to New Orleans.

Closed due to damage sustained in Hurricane Katrina.
Food was ok, service was pretty ordinary as in not very interested in making sure you had everything or needed anything else. Price was fair and decor was in need of something to distinguish what kind of restaurant they are.

Nice atmosphere, good service and very good food. Staff was very attentive to our needs as a group, food portions are good sized and prepared to our liking. The staff was friendly and on point, recommend for a causal night out of good food and drink.

We almost did not go in. Donât let the outside scare you. Go in. The Bartender made us a delicious bloody mary. We started a tab and then went and ordered our food. Highly recommend the shrimp basket with a small green salad. Very satisfying.

Had the mushroom swiss burger with crystal onion strings for my side. Huge burger (could only eat half) and lots of onion rings. Friends had burgers and fries or salad. All cooked perfectly to order. Friendly service. Reasonably priced. Next time will try the shakes.

A roadside watering hole with great food! Open seven days a week at 11am. Great lunch specials during the week and live music every Friday and Saturday night.
This is a local establishment located right across the street from the river. It's a short drive from downtown NOLA. First and foremost, you must come here on a Monday to get the red beans and rice. We've managed to visit here twice now and on a Monday just for this dish. My hubby got the special cheeseburger and it was delicious. The appetizer of Fried Green Tomatoes is not to be missed. It's a large enough serving for 2-3 people. They are HUGE and delicious. I've not had anything but the red beans and rice, but I am sure everything on the menu is delicious. We cannot wait to visit again.

Stopped at Heads and Tails Seafood & Oyster bar after a long day. We arrived around 5 pm and had no wait. Our waiter stopped to introduce himself as he passed by and came right back for our drink orders. He also took our appetizer order and told us we were still in time for "Happy Hour"! If I don't see anything that I know that I will love I typically order Fried Shrimp -- a staple hard to mess us. But, on a whim, I went out of my comfort zone and ordered the Pasta Barbara. When it arrived, I was disappointed it was in a "red" cream sauce but I was pleasantly surprised. Two nicely fried rounds of eggplant on a bed of shrimp fettuccini was really good. My husband got a dozen oysters and a pan seared redfish over HUGE asparagus!!! BONUS to the waiter for keeping our tea glasses full!!!
