This review is after my second time here. Both times the service was excruciatingly slow. There is one server for the whole restaurant. The bartender was helping which made getting a drink impossible. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer which came only luke warm. My husband had to leave the table to go to the bar 3 times to get drinks. No one ever apologized. We made reservations and when we arrived 10 minutes EARLY, they said they had given our table to someone else so they put two tables together for us. I had really high hopes but I was warned not to go because of the slow Service. I chalked it up to being new, but that is not the case. They were also out of several things on the menu, including arugula. None of the 6 in group will be going back.

This was my first time to Antietam Brewery and I ordered a flight so I could try several of the beers. I really liked 4 out of 5 of them. The 4 I liked had good flavor and were very smooth. I did not try any of the food but, I did munch on some of the free popcorn. The bartender was very nice and I met the owner who took a few minutes to chat with me about the special Civil War beer can labels that would be coming out. The place was pretty cozy and had a man playing a guitar and singing. I will be returning in February for the beer and the new can coming out!

Located in the Ramada Plaza Hotel at the same address. 301-733-4800
My husband and I were staying at the Ramada Plaza in Hagerstown, as we have done many times in the past, and chose to have dinner in this adjacent restaurant. We had had a perfectly miserable day of travel up from Virginia, dealing with torrential rain, fog, and traffic. By the time we got to Hagerstown, we were exhausted and our nerves were frayed. The restaurant was crowded due to construction and short staffing. Fortunately we decided to eat in the bar and came across Brandi, the most wonderful server! Brandi was upbeat, welcoming and infinitely patient. She was slammed herself, but she took the time to discuss wines with us, as well as the menu. She managed to keep everyone in the bar area well served with timeliness and good humor. We are retired and spend many weeks a year traveling and eating in restaurants. Brandi was a server who made a tremendous impression on us and who we will remember for a long time with smiles and gratitude.

Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
We have eaten at the Pittsburgh location several times and were happy to see them closer to VA. They need work. The whole deal here is the slaw and fries on your sandwich. I had 3 small fries on mine and my wife had none. The bread is very good, the pastrami is piled high, but this is a disgrace to the chain. We've watched Toni in Burgh several times grab a large handful of fries while making sandwiches. Guess we'll drive the extra couple of hours and get the real thing.Hi there,Thanks for the feedback about this particular location. Our server, Kelli, couldn't have been more pleasant, smiling, efficient with her table service. The restaurant was fairly crowded on a Saturday evening. Our four orders were varied and all delicious. My Baked Half Chicken with Orzo really hit the spot. This was our first visit, so we will look forward to a return venture. There was a full barservice, plenty of wait staff, enough parking. Ot was a bit loud in the dining room/bar room, but then again it was St. Patrick's Day weekend.

Bennieâs has a pub menu. I particularly like the Waldorf salad with roasted cashews as well as the fish sandwich without the bacon. The coconut shrimp (appetizer) is also good. I have been to the fish fry on Fridayâs is good as well, The list of craft beers appeals to various tastes. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable.

Still one of my favorite restaurants in the Hagerstown area. They didn't disappoint on this list either. Lovely setting, clean, wait staff pleasant, service excellent. What more can I say? Oh! Food exceptional. Next time I am up from Florida, I will visit again. Public garage parking is convenient at a reasonable price. Food prices are average for a good restaurant..

Check out my pictures and see how good the food was that we purchase tonight. It was suggested by our waiter for us to download the app for the restaurant. When we did that we got a free $7.25 dessert which was very large and several of us shared up.Also we downloaded the app and signed out for free and looked at the specials ain't got a free $13 appetizer. We decide to go with bones in Buffalo Wings. One word of advice when you order mild it really is hot and spicy. The flavor even though they were hot, was very goodCheck out my pictures and thumb them up if you like them. Thanks

Our waiter could not have been nicer! The brunch menu looked good on paper, but when the food came, the âhome friesâ were actually deep fried potatoes, basically French fries cut into squares! The spinach and cheese in my omelette was sparse. The mimosa was orange juice with splash of champagne, it should be the other way around! The lettuce in my salad seemed wilted, how do you mess up a salad? Love their atmosphere, but wonât be back for breakfast! Maybe, maybe try lunch, or dinner. Maybe not!
