Bar Boef the living room of Haarlem. A casual hang-out where you feel at home. A living room concept with a high quality of food and drink. Be surprised with delicious Shared Dining dishes and unique cocktails and G & Ts. You're welcome!
This place, at a very nice little shopping street, has a very cozy atmosphere. The hosts give a nice amount of personal attention and show great motivation. They also organize boardgame evenings, sometimes life music etc.We were a group of 8 and therefore got a fixed menu. They were very accommodating to allergies and the food was well prepared, tasty and ample.A very nice place!

Coffee and pie... Breakfast... Lunch... Diner... Drinks... Located in the centre of Haarlem, near the station and the shops!
We passed this cafe on our way from the train station. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was excellent. We loved our food - best we have had in Amsterdam so far. And it was priced so reasonably. And loved the two well behaved doggies there. Definately a must go.

A hidden gem in this lovely city. The weather was glorious the day we visited which, of course, made it even more lovely. The staff were great, delicious wine and the pizzas (although we didn't have one) looked amazing!!

We must have liked it. We went every night for three nights. We had swordfish once, and otherwise sliptongs, delicious, sweet baby dover soles meuniere, with chips/ vegetables/ salad. After drinking either at Uiltje or Jopenkerk, there wasn't much of a choice for late night eateries, so this was a good amenity. The beer selection was a bit of a disappointment after those other two great places, but the staff at Bruxelles were friendly, the prices were keen, the sliptongs were ace (why can't we have them in the UK?) and we got Chupa Chup lollies after every visit. We still have all six.

While smoking a fine Ashton cigar purchased in a cigar store in the French Quarter and conversing with Armando, the stores owner, I asked for recommendations for an early dinner. He immediately suggested Koops because of its excellent food and its proximity. I loved the fact that it was old and small and had an almost dive-bar ambience. The music from the speakers was to loud and it bothered my friend so I asked the waitress if she could turn it down and she did so with a smile. The marinated crab claws were great, (really great) as was the chicken dish I had. (It had a long cajun name, can't tell it too you). I would be surprised if everyone who likes the French Quarter didn't like Koops.

This pub is typically Dutch and has a great ambience. It is one of my favorite spots for a beer. Hardly one seats, so most people are standing around.

A regional Brewery with all kinds of beer from their own brewery. You can go for a drink, for lunch and dinner, all 'honest' products, Dutch cuisine with a nice authentic touch!
This place has a great vibe. The converted church is pretty cool. They have some tasty beers, but served in micro glasses for 5 euro. You are paying for that atmosphere. Ordered a few snacks which were ok, nothing spectacular. Servers are not very engaging or friendly.

Situated just off the main square in beautiful historic Haarlem, Tierney's offers a menu focused on great quality fresh food at a reasonable price. We also offer a variety of beers, wines and soft drinks as well as the largest whiskey collection in Haarle
I had lost my cell phone today and was feeling miserable. Three hours later, I found it and felt wonderful. Time to celebrate with a great dinner. We went in for the ribs but they were sold out. Let's try the steak? The beer, a light Guiness, hit the spot. The steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare and the sauce made it sing. Good fries and veggies and my spirits rose. Leisurely service worked out nicely. AOK all round.
