This is more of a bar than restaurant. If you have the kids- keep looking. Was dark, noisy and bathroom was nasty. Food tasted funny, didnt finish meal. Wont return.

This place offered coupons which seemed to confuse the wait staff what applied / what didnât. I recommend in lieu of coupons they offer a happy hour and place discounted items on that menu and avoid confusion.The burgers are tasty and the digs are nice but sorta had confusing visit.We actually have happy hour discounts every day. However, not unlike most restaurants and businesses, you can't stack discounts. The coupons really only get confusing when individuals try to get more than the coupon offers. They pretty clearly state exactly what you can or cannot use them for right on the coupon. Our staff understands exactly how these coupons can and cannot be used. They take them every day. In this particular case, I believe they were simply expired. We apologize you didn't get the discount you felt you deserved. Most folks usually just appreciate that we offer discounts. Thanks for visiting.

From an early dinner wife and I decided to try this place instead of originally planned place as it was far closer. I got the First Mate's platter and the wife the shrimp platter. Both was quite good and cooked just right. Not a big fan of the clam strips but that is a personal choice. Would have no problems returning

From the way the hostess was dressed to the long wait for every course to the blandness of simple food, like Chicken Alfredo (bland Mac and cheese), all was sub par. The only thing that saved our evening was cancelling dessert (which was supposed to be for my sonâs birthday) and going next door to the Village Creamery.We strive to exceed our guest expectations, and on behalf of all The Village Hideaway staff, I would like to sincerely apologize that we were not able to achieve this during your visit with us.

Ate here with friends and had a fun-filled night. The stuffed avocado with the shrimp was delicious! Before this visit, I had never eaten a stuffed avocado. My friend had it with the tuna and she said it was delicious as well. The host for us seated quickly. Our server was amazing. She took all 6 of our orders without writing it down and got it ALL correct! She was very attentive to our needs. The live music was great. They have pool tables and darts to play while you wait. Great atmosphere. Very casual. Off the beaten path so there was no wait...which if you are familiar with the area, you know that is almost unheard of! We will definitely make this a regular stop! Canât say enough good things about it.

This place is awesome. Friendly staff. Great location next to hang out & right on beach. 9 pm every night they have karaoke. They serve food, but I didnât eat here. You can go just for drinks. Mixed crowd...young and old...tourists and locals. Everyone was nice. Iâd definitely go back. It was fun.

Came here because of all the reviews I read regarding how good the food was. Was not dissapointed! While there is not much of a selection what we did try was delicious. Took our 11 year old there and she loved it too. They have a bunch of drawings pinned all over the wall we all enjoyed looking at. We even added a drawing of our own. Don't let the look deceive you it was great!
