Grinnell had been lacking a place like the Peace Tree for a long time, a mid priced microbrewery where both students and townies are welcome. This place finally filled the gap. They do not serve food btu you can bring your own in and the beers are plentiful, high quality and reasonably priced. Oh and their pub quiz nights are great.

An open door means flies sitting on your head. the bartender also slapped her nasty foot up on the counter and cut her toenails. Enough said. Drinks were ok and prices were cheap but the local regulars were wasted by 1 pm on a Saturday. Belligerent and loud. We won't be back unless they change drastically. It could be a very neat place but toenails? Gross
