We're local and meet friends here for lunch every Tuesday. This has been our custom for the last two-plus years and we've never had anything that wasn't outstanding. You know you're a regular when Renee knows what you're going to have as soon as you walk in the door! It's your typical small airport cafe with a good menu, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner. We could easily go somewhere else, but we keep coming back... that should tell you how good it is!

We had spent a wonderful morning on Lake Tahoe and came here for some lunch. Our server arranged a table for our group and continued with good service throughout the meal. Everyone had a different item from the interesting menu. My husband had the bison burger, and I had the sliders. We were all pleased with our food. The weather was so nice that we enjoyed the outdoor dining very much.

The restaurant has a prime location in the lake and the decor and ambience justified its high rating. The service was extraordinarily personal, very attentive and great.Besides the location the food was also good and the lamb chops particularly well made. We also had the tomato soup and it was very well prepared. Salads were good, creative in its presentation and the overall service well orchestrated.

Cool bar, tapas restaurant with a small live theater. Get the Old Smokey, and sit in the glow of the bar. Weeknight service was better than weekend with a smaller crowd. We did not try the food but dishes looked good. Magic show was fun & family friendly. Would go back food and drinks!

Fox & Hound is a must stop, located near The Ridge Tahoe and the Nevada-side lifts (Stagecoach and Boulder) of Heavenly Resort on the Tahoe Rim Trail and just a short drive off the Old Pony Express Route (Kingsbury Grade). Fox & Hound is located 7,380 fee
Lynn and I and friends recently stopped for a light dinner at the Fox and Hound. The restaurant was convenient to our high altitude timeshare nearby ( 7700 feet). . This place doesnât look like much from the street, but walk inside and the servers make you feel like long lost friends. Our server, Britney was really sociable and gave me some good advice about the Heavenly ski season. I had their Fish & Chips ($18.49) with a side of onion rings. 3 nice pieces of fish..haddock I believe. Lynn had their French Dip with mushrooms. She must have liked it since we went back a couple of days later & she ordered the same thing. This is a very friendly laid back place with great food.

We went here for dinner on a Sunday night. The menu mainly consists mainly of pizza, burgers, and some BBQ items. Our food portions and taste, we considered average. The folks serving us appeared to be the owners, they were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed... even using plastic silverware and cups. The outdoor seating area includes corn-hole and Jenga, among other games. The highlight was definitely the service! We didn't love the country music selection, would have preferred more variety. We will go back and give it another chance, maybe try some of their interesting cocktail options.

Our friends took us to this historic bar (oldest in Nevada est.1864) and what an experience we had. The interior looks like it had not changed since the bar opened. One item on the wall was of special significance. As the story goes Rachel Welch visited years ago and wanted to add her bra to the the wall display( a long tradition) however she insisted that all the other bras be taken down leaving her red bra alone on the wall. There it stands to this day although it now has turned black with age. Step up to the bar and your are greeted by friendly bar keeps. This particular Sunday it was quite busy with the tourist season but service was not effected. Plenty of outside seating is available also. And yes this is a full bar.
