Wednesday burger night! Go! Don't hesitate - go! Order a First Magnitude beer and a burger. Enjoy the non-atmosphere, which means - enjoy the atmosphere! Throwback to my days at the Purple Porpose at halftime, drinking kamakazi's - I'm older now, so a beer and a burger from the legacy owners, will have to do. Great place.

After a very busy day, I decided to take my kids to dinner at Loosey's (instead of trying to drag something together myself). What a great idea that turned out to be! We were greeted cordially and seated right away in a nice spacious booth. The waitress came promptly and was super nice! We started with a cup of lobster bisque which was creamy with lumps if lobster, a perfect starter. I enjoyed a perfect cheese burger with carmelized onions and fries, which I dipped in their jalapeno aoli. My sons had a chicken club sandwich and a cheeseburger, and both gave dinner a big thumbs up. Next time I'm too tired to cook, this is where I'll come, a gem close to home!

I have eaten at this restaurant 3 or 4 times and it has always been really good. I have never reviewed it before it because it seems to be doing just fine on TripAdvisor and I didn't really have much to add but this last time we went was last Friday and it was so over the top good that everyone at the table is still talking about it. I had the ribeye and it was amazing how good it was, I tasted the fillet entree too and it was a feeling of melt in your mouth tenderness. Every item I tried was really incredible including the grilled salad.

You have to judge this place on its intent. It is intended to serve college kids beer and bar food and it does that well. The food is mostly fried and probably frozen. Drinks are good and their mixed drinks are are poured heavy so be prepared. The service is mostly young ladies who do the best they can but the kitchen is not up to the task. Good comes out unevenly and the wait time is to long. Again you need to understand what this place is all about and from that aspect they do ok.

I've been 3-4 times. Shared plates with my wife. Sandwiches, specials, burgers, and salads have been great. I've never had anything I didn't enjoy. I'd go more often but i'm on the opposite side of town.

Going to the movies and wanted to eat first. We were seated immediately after arriving and server was at the table soon after, taking our drink orders. We both ordered steaks, mine was the ribeye, wife got the flat iron. Both were cooked to order. Mine was tender and juicy, very tasty. Wife's was a little tough, but good flavor. Overall good meal. Nice place to go, close to theater.

Iâve been eating at the Gators Den for years - every time Iâm in Gainesville in business. Itâs connected to the Best Western so its very convenient to have so close after a long day of business meetings. Very tasty food (and Iâve tried pretty much everything on their menu).My favourites are the âsmothered chickenâ and their chilli. The wings are good as well.For desert try the raspberry cheesecake - itâs good!The service is actually fantastic! The wait staff are all young - probably college kids - and they are very motivated to ensuring that each customer is happy... it works! I always tip large because the kids that work there try so hard - thatâs important.Itâs always a pleasure eating at the âDenâ and I recommend it whenever you happen to be in the Gainesville Florida area.Thank you for your review and comments.
