Over the years we have eaten at the Franklin Applebee's several times. The menu has changed as well and we wanted to try this latest menu variant. Having the steaks back as a feature to me is a good thing, always liked Applebee's sirloin steaks for their good value, taste & sufficient volume of food. Both of us had the 8 oz. Sirloin with the mushroom & onion toppings. They were both cooked & seasoned perfectly. The restaurant was clean as were the rest rooms. The service was fair but the wait was especially long, really long otherwise the score would have been higher.

Best Comfort Food in Franklin. combined with vegan and gluten free. Breakfast Buffet $10 every Saturday & Sunday from 8-1.
We were expecting a good place for breakfast and heard good reports on the above location. Both of our meals were very good(eggs benedict&omlet). My wife asked if she could have some fruit instead of potatoes(9 and no mention of extra charge) and I was asked what toast I wanted(again no mention of extra charge). The fruit was $4.00 extra and my toast was $2.00 extra. I have never been charged $1.00 per slice of toast, always thought toast was included for breakfast. So be sure to ASK BEFORE saying anything.

We came here to celebrate a special occasion on a Tuesday evening. The traditional wings were half off. We ordered Medium sauce, Teriyaki sauce, and Honey BBQ. These are our 3 favorite sauces! They are so delicious. Our experience at this store was great. We donât have any complaints.
Very friendly waitress (Sam) and efficient. We enjoyed samples of a Kolsch and Maize Runner beers and ordered from the samples. We ordered fish and chips and the Cuban sandwich which were very good!!! Would recommend this restaurant/brewery!! And will definitely return when back in area.
Recently ate at Shale Creek Brewing in Franklin, Indiana. Discovered they are the first local brewery in Franklin in 135 years. The owner and brewer, Mike Baker, keeps about 14 house brewed beers on hand at all times. They also have their own kitchen with a widening variety of menu items. The day we visited I had the Brewer's Special hamburger, featuring a tasty and generous beef patty with bacon, house made beer cheese, and jalapenos. I recommend this sandwich for a great eating experience. They had other hamburger concoctions, as well. My wife had the beer-mac n cheese, which she said really hit the spot. The beer cheese macaroni in itself is a great meal, but they give the option of adding chicken, bar-b-cue, jalapenos or crumbled bacon in any combiation that you like. Very tasty. For a beverage I had the Shale Creek Cream Ale, which was smooth and delicious as any cream ale I have ever experienced. My wife is not a beer drinker but does enjoy a rum and coke. Their full bar made it easy to select the proper rum for her drink. Their were 8 of us in our party and it seemed everyone selected a different menu item and various beer selections. There were no complaints from our group on any of the items. I heard several Wows over the chicken wings. Fantastic! All in all, we will go back. Way too many home brews to try to not go back. And, there are free samples to assist you with your next pint selection.

We love Chili's and eat there fairly often. Our most recent visit was a disappointment, to say the least. First, the good: I have recently gone gluten-free, and Chili's does have some good offerings those who are avoiding gluten. On their website, they have detailed information about menu items for those who are avoiding certain allergens. Our waitress was good, bringing extra napkins (we have kids) and drink refills without having to ask. Now the not-so-good:- Our table was not clean. You could tell it has been wiped down with a wet cloth, because there was a thick film on it. I'm mildly germaphobic, and this it gross. - When I got up to go the bathroom, I smelled that musty bar smell that seems like they're using towels too long and they've gone sour.- As I turned the corner to the hallway that leads to the bathrooms, there was a sewer gas smell. Not very appetizing.- I hate those little terminals that are now on each table. We don't go to restaurants to play games and stare at a screen. Now we have to check ourselves out using this device. - Even though we never used it, there was a charge on our bill for playing games on that little terminal. I had to wait about five minutes for the waitress to come back and then go remove the charge. The food was good, as always, but overall the experience was not pleasing. Looks like we won't be going to Chili's as often.

Welcome to Jefferson Street Pub, Franklin's hometown bar since 1998! We offer top-notch pub fare, friendly service, and great drinks. Jefferson Street Pub is the favorite local spot for dancing. With live music, DJs, and karaoke, it's the best place in to
We had wings and beer. All good. Live music started at 7 and was fun. People are super friendly and make for a pleasant unpretentious place. So glad you stopped in for a couple cold ones and some wings! Sorry it took me so long to say so. If you're ever back in the area, we'd love to have you in again. Until then, Karen D., Owner

After fifty-plus years within twenty miles of the place and never having been there, had lunch at The Willard yesterday. What a gem it is, seemingly unchanged from its early days as a hotel. Situated right downtown, it's easy to get to and handy to most everything, including the Historic Artcraft Theater, just next door. The main dining room is small, some would say intimate, with a big red neon sign, "Willard Hotel". The menu was surprisingly extensive, offering something for just about everyone. Our server was cordial, knowledgeable, and quite helpful. Service was prompt, it being busy lunch hour at high noon. Servings were generous, and my tuna salad on rye was very good. Beer was refreshingly cold. Everyone in our party was pleased with the food, service, and surroundings. Sorry it took so long to get here for the first visit...have to make up for lost time!
