Nothing special to highlight. Modest dishes, modest wines but good service. Not a real house of steaks. Avoid brown mashed potatoes. Poor desserts.

I frequent this establishment a lot. This time I had on drink perfectly poured and tried the chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was huge piping hot and delicious. Service was spot on. Jodie was great as well Penny and Julie as they have all served me. Shout out to Tim in the Kitchen good guy.

Extensive mixed drink menu! Try the spiked lemonades. The chicken tenders are amazing! The honey mustard had a nice horseradish kick. The firehouse burger was yummy. A very good place for a nice family meal.

The Scenic Root is a fairly new restaurant in an popular Manlius location right next to the Swan Pond. When in high school, I worked at âThe Beefâ as the restaurant for years was called Whatâs Your Beef, hence my title for old times sake. Took my mother over for dinner the other night. Even though the restaurant was quite crowded, we were seated immediately. The servers were very good, almost as good as the food. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing with several separate rooms which helps to greatly reduce the noise for ambience. The only very minor glitch is how long it took to get the tab after finishing. I loved the place and will certainly return. Perhaps for a swan dinner in the summer.

My family and I recently had dinner at Gance's. First the good....the view and the outdoor area are fantastic. They had live music and the band was excellent. Good music selection, not too loud but very fun. The bad... first no kids menu. Ok, we can deal because there are chicken fingers on the regular menu for $11 (little on the high side). The service: we had drinks at the bar first. That area was not busy but for some reason it took forever to pour a glass of wine, vodka/soda and a water. Our waitress was pretty rude. She was definitely very busy so I can give some reprieve there but she never checked on us, didn't refill drinks, we didn't have enough side plates for our appetizers. Never came back after our food was delivered until it was time for the bill. The food was average. I has the haddock. It was decent. Having said all this, for the view and music I would go back. I would probably just stick to a burger and be prepared to wait and just enjoy the band and a drink.

Despite being a national chain, I eat here often enough that it feels like a local restaurant. The food is always good and the service is excellent. Despite changes over tge years, servers have always been friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended as a place for casual dining.

A sandwich shop where each order is made while you wait. Fresh ingredients in each sandwich make this one of the best dining experiences. If you haven't been to Philly, stop here and you'll feel like you have. Dine in (48 seats), take out or phone order.
Great place. Simple and straightforward menu. Awesome draft and endless looking bottle/can selectionsGreat lunch and SU/NFL specials Cool employees that remember your name and typical orderI'm a regular and if it stays like this, they can count on me for years to come

The American Arts and Crafts Movement blossomed at the turn of the 20th century on the tree lined streets of peaceful villages in upstate New York. The movement was a personal and architectural revolt against the ornateness of the Victorian style. This Mo
This restaurant is now called the The Craftsman Wood Grille & Tap Room. The atmosphere at lunch was very comfortable and our waitress Melissa was very pleasant and attentive. Our meal was very attractively prepared & tasted very good. This is our first time back since this restaurant has been renovated and plan on going back.

I have been here many times. Recently there was a change in Chefs and the menu. The menu now is extensive and with many daily specials. I ordered the Reuben wrap with onion rings to go. It was absolutely fantastic. Large portion and superb flavor. Onion rings were also great. Look forward to trying more new items.

Went on a Tuesday evening around and there was a short wait. Very small space but the wait staff turns tables fast without rushing you. Good list of local craft beers as well as some national favorites. Daily specials that looked excellent. Decided on their classic pot roast poutine and while it is not the traditional Montreal poutine (very little cheese and not sharp) it was rich and yummy. Gravy was solid and the pot roast melted in your mouth. Moved on to entrees of bbq maple pork chop for me and grilled cheese sandwich with short rib for my friend. Both were outstanding. Ton of meat in the grilled cheese that made it decadent and a perfectly cooked, tender, juicy pork chop. Sides were good but the mashed potatoes while creamy could have used some more flavor. After waiting decades to visit I will return very soon as there were many other menu items that sounded wonderful.
