Visited here on a Saturday at noon. First thing I noticed was how loud it was-music was way too loud in the dining room, which made people speak up for their conversations, and the place was less than 1/4 full. Ordered strawberry lemonade, which took about 10 minutes to make-other than the fact that it was sweet, had a tart aftertaste, and pink, didn't resemble any other strawberry lemonade I have had, and was "pre-strawed" (a pet peeve). Food arrived about 40 minutes later-just got a hamburger and philly steak sandwich, nothing too complicated. The hamburger was overcooked, dry and tasteless-I actually took it off the bun so that I could tell if I was eating the hamburger patty or just bread (maybe shouldn't have ordered a burger in a wing place, but no one around us seemed to be eating wings either...) As we were leaving, I heard the hostess tell at couple at the door that it would be about a 2 hour wait, as "the kitchen was backed up." The dining area was still not full, not sure about the bar area. Second opportunity for this chain, won't be back.
The food is typical, lower end bar food, but the prices are cheap. The staff has always friendly and take care of their customers. It's a great atmosphere to watch your sporting events and they take care of business.

We took my husband's visiting granddaughter and great-granddaughter to Applebee's for noon meal. They were busy, but we were seated immediately and a coloring page and crayons were delivered to the 6-year-old. The food was excellent and included a wide variety of choices. It's a little noisy, making conversation difficult, but the quality of the meals made that inconvenience acceptable and ignorable.

Food was okay but not great. Burger and chicken breasts were burnt, side order of veggies was over-seasoned and less than 1/4 cup total. Side salad was large and best part of dinner. Carnitas tacos were a little dry. Cheese wasn't melted inside the enchiladas.

We stopped at this restaurant for dinner while traveling. We were looking at the menu and my husband asked me if I wanted sizzling steak fajitas. I said they always overcook the meat (for my taste) in Mexican dishes. Our server overheard my remark and stopped to say that I could order the steak any way I wanted it. So I gave it a try and the meat was nice and tender and not overcooked. My husband and I also shared a cup of French onion soup which was very good.

This eatery was recommended by our B&B and it lived up to that recommendation. We went for dinner. The assortment of beers was impressive and we got tastes so that we could choose. The whiskey beef was superb. The atmosphere was eclectic and very friendly. I will go there again.
