Plenty of (excellent) beer on tap, and nearly two dozen options for grilled cheese--or you can build your own sandwich. And you can get tasty tater tots on the side. In addition, the atmosphere was chill/totally unpretentious, the service was fast, and the staff members were friendly and laid-back. I highly recommend checking out Spacebar if you want a delicious grilled cheese sandwich, some excellent beer, or both.

We are a rustic tavern true to Virginia's beauty. Our array of beer selections, flavorful cocktails and comfort food menu make you feel at home right away. We have a 19 HDTV's for sports lovers, and outdoor patio for after work gatherings and always give
Dinner while traveling with business associates. Good comfort food and vurger type place. Big portions. Well prepared. They do raw bar too so oysters, mussels and clams available. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Dark wood, fireplace and music at low volume. Sports on a few TVs around the place. Our waitress was excellent. Engaging and attentive. She took four orders with requests for substitutions and appetizers all by memory, never wrote anything down and got them all correct. Many other nice looking casual restaurants in the area were nearly empty but this place was almost filled to capacity. I suspect they have a loyal clientele of regulars. When in the area I would be happy to return.

The Lost Dog Café has been serving up great pizza, hot sandwiches and beer from around the world in Arlington's Westover neighborhood since 1985. Well known as a place to get great food at a great price, the café also serves up a hefty slice of compassion
If your family or friends are dog lovers, bring them here. At the very least, they'll love the murals which feature all kind of dog characters as commuters, etc. narrating the local history of Dunn Loring/Vienna. The menu features lots of fresh vegetables and soups and sandwiches. Lots of light from large windows. T-shirts featuring dogs and the cafe are also on sale. This is a one of a kind place.

Came here around 1100 for Sunday brunch. Able to be seated right away inside, good number of people seated outside as it was a pleasant morning. Itâs important to note that only the brunch is available, there is no alternative breakfast menu. We opted to stay although I donât think we ate our value/cost of meal. Omelette station employee was kind. She was able to prepare two omelettes at a time and we were next in line so it wasnât a long wait. Decent choice of veggies to choose from. Omelette was quite large and filling although somewhat simple in preparation. Long line for rest of food choices. Few choices in salads/dressings. I thought I was getting a Waldorf type salad and disappointed when I got to table as it was potato. Just not what I expected. There were scrambled eggs and bacon, some potatoes, fresh melon. They also had some fried chicken and Mac and cheese. I went through the line twice and each time they were out of the salmon/lox. They werenât very quick and replenishing items. The selections were okay but I wouldnât return. For people who have more of an appetite, it may be worth the visit.

Like another reviewer said, this is more of a sports bar than a restaurant...but a very nice sports bar. We stopped in for a late dinner and didn't have to wait to be seated. There are some very good local beers on the menu. My wife and I had the DC Corruption and a Hoppy Place IPA...both were excellent. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Margarita Flat Bread pizza were good as well. But what we really liked was the Funnel Fries! A must try. Prices were about what you'd expect: $10-$15 for the food, and $7 for the craft beer. All in all, a very good experience.

Stopped in this restaurant on a whim for a cold beer and lunch. Learned from the waiter that after 9 years, this restaurant will close July 31 for good. Shame, because the brewed beer was very good and the burgers phenomenal. We didn't have one bad lunch item the day we were there - 5 perfectly cooked burgers. Fries could have used an additional 2 minutes in the fryer, but other than that, great stuff. Get there before they close end of July!

Crowded and loud, but thatâs to be expected in such a popular place. Iâve been happy with my dogfish visits in the past, but was disappointed in the Friday fish fry. The fish was only so so, and paired with Mac and cheese, fries and corn bread, it was a bit of a carb overload. Others in my group had the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos which were excellent.
