Deventer (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈdeːvəntər] ( listen)) is a city and municipality in the Salland region of the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. In 2017, Deventer had a population of 99,577. The city is largely situated on the east bank of the river IJssel, but also has a small part of its territory on the west bank. In 2005 the municipality of Bathmen (with a population of about 5,000 people) was merged with Deventer as part of a national effort to reduce bureaucracy in the country.

Hier al eens tussen de middag gegeten en twee keer 's avonds hier gegeten. Geen uitgebreide kaart maar desondanks keuze genoeg.De burger en de kipsate zijn erg lekker.Vriendelijke bediening en ze zitten aan de brink in het centrum van de stad. Hier alleen wat drinken kan natuurlijk ook.

Eindelijk een plek in het winkelcentrum Flora in Colmschate waar je ongedwongen en fatsoenlijk kunt lunchen, koffie drinken en zelfs dineren, niet al te grote maar wel leuke kaart. Laat in de middag neergestreken voor een voortreffelijke salade met malse biefstukjes resp. een uitsmijter dubbelgebakken met zeer smakelijk bruin oerbrood. (H)eerlijk eten en vriendelijke bediening. Inrichting is met liefde en aandacht uitgevoerd. Schilderijenwand, draadlampen, echt houten tafels, fauteuils, banken, hoge en lage tafels, met de trap naar de vide, voor elk wat wils, ook voor kinderen. Grote glazen pui waar de zon op staat te branden (de vergunning voor de zonwering was nog niet toegekend). Ruim buitenterras. Prima plek. Aanrader. Moeder en zoon.

Location is superb in a quiet garden courtyard. Good weather that day certainly helped but I can see how I can enjoy the place even on a gloomy day. My friend and I both had the croquette on bread, which was very nice. The selection was not huge but adequate. Service was good. We felt welcomed and our orders were taken promptly with patience to explain the Dutch menu, and the food was served without too much of a wait. Visited this restaurant in the main square twice - once for lunch and the second time just for a drink. Good pancakes and toasties at lunch time with a friendly and helpful waitress. As we wanted to try somewhere else on our short trip to Deventer, didn't experience dinner menu, but would like to in the future.

new kids on the block; just that bit extra which you get when you just recently started. prices are rediculously low. on the menu you will find various chef's special but if you want something different that is also possible. even the coffee is just a bit different..

Go here to drink beer, don't go for the food. This pub has a whole lot of beers on tap and many, many more by the bottle. There is a large chalkboard on the wall that lists the beers and the alcohol content. Some, like the Blond Bush, are very strong.Prices are reasonable. The place is a little quirky, with the witches on Broom sticks. Apparently they used to burn witches at the stake nearby.

If you're hungry, and looking for a quick but satisfying bite and happen to be in Deventer, then I strongly recommend Happy Tosti.We had two different Tostis, the spicy chorizo and the Mexican and both did not disappoint. I'm a big guy so I went for the value for money double up and was happy I did.The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the vibe is awesome. Also great value for money.Our little monkey (daughter) also loved the food and the swing chairs were an unexpected bonus.
