This is a nice neighborhood place that apparently has an avid local following. I arrived for a light dinner, and sat at a table near the bar. After a while, the congenial bartender came by, told me about the specials,an took my drink order. The flank steak special sounded good, and he convinced me that, despite my original plan to eat light, I could finish it. I'm glad I took his advice. The steak was a good size, grilled to a perfect medium rare, very juicy, and nicely seasoned. It was served with way above average onion rings and two slices of very good garlic bread. After tip, the dinner total with one beer came to around $23--a great value and a definite "must return".

We arrived for lunch on a weekday. There was outdoor seating as well as indoor. We chose indoor seating and got a nice booth in a more private area. The server was pleasant and efficient. The food was good. The best part is that there is a "senior menu" for both lunch and supper, and the prices are very reasonable. A good recommendation from me!

Solid choice for "pub fare" and brews when in the area. The deep fried pickles, Southwest and Steak salads are favorites. The menu has been tweaked, the quality of food has improved as well as the service since our last visit. Deep fried items are crisp, not greasy. Portions are generous. The beef to bun ratio of their French dip sandwich was a little on the light side. Pricing is on par for the quality and quantity and can be mitigated with coupons. Definitely a step up from a fast food chain option. Recommended.

Went to this little dive bar with my friend after we heard the fried chicken was good. We sat down and the bartender took our drink orders and gave us menus. We both ordered the fried chicken and Jo Jo's it came out pretty quick it was hot and delicious. The Ranch needs to be upgraded as it was not very good but I will be back for the delicious fried chicken.
