We have visited this restaurant several times since it's opening. Great at first , then not so great. After avoiding for a few months, we went back. Glad we did, it was outstanding this time. My scallops while overcooked (isn't all fish in restaurants?), was so tasty, the mushroom app. was equally good. Tuesdays is half off wine bottles so we enjoyed one of those. My spouse's steak was cooked just right and was delicious also. The waiter checked on us frequently and the manager went out of his way to make sure we were happy. We'll go again soon!Thank you for giving us another chance! I'm glad you were satisfied with your return visit! The 'Shrooms are a staff favorite! See you soon!

The Sunday brunch here is a very good deal $10. Lots of variety and excellent views. Very friendly helpful staff and that really try to please you. Nice atmosphere and good variety on the daily menu.

We have been bragging about Lakeside Craft Kitchen to our next door neighbors since they purchased their house last year. They travel for business constantly, so it was this last Friday before we could buy them dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in Denton. Our server was Cindy, and she was beyond incredible. At our table when needed, and always having a smile as big as Texas when present at our table. We started off with drinks and beef tenderloin on crostini. Flawlessly cooked tenderloin rested upon what tasted like homemade crostini accompanied with a sauce that was to die for. The top shelf margaritas and the lemon drop martinis were over the top great (the lemon drop martinis may be the best on the Planet). We followed with jumbo lump crab cakes and jalapeno bombshells. The jumbo lump crab cakes were as amazing as they have been in the past, but they had shrunk in size. Definitely not jumbo, but definitely some of the best crab cakes period. The jalapeno bombshells were a disappointment. They were perfectly cooked, but had no heat or spice at all. They tasted more like green pepper bombshells, not jalapenos. The service was as good as service can get. The food, like each time we have been is fantastic. We are hopeful when we return again that the crab cakes return to their normal size and that the jalapeno bombshells have heat and spice that you would expect from jalapenos. Our friends were thrilled we chose Lakeside Craft Kitchen and we look forward to returning with them soon. If you go, ask for Cindy as your server. Exposed brick, skylights, leather, and wood are just some of the esthetics that caught my eye when I walked in. Their menu is solid and the portions are generous but reader be warned, there is smoking indoors so if that's a deal breaker you might not be happy here. I enjoyed Icelandic beer and bourbon pulled pork nachos while watching the Euro Cup and I felt right at home. Hope this helps, Cheers!Thank you for the review. Yes smoking is currently allowed as we have fought hard for adults and business owners to make a choice we all should be allowed in this great country. With that said, however, we will be non smoking starting January 1st 2018 as our great city government and advocates have made that choice for us all.Cheers back at you and thanks again!

This movie tavern is certainly small but satisfactory. However, the seating is overly cramped for dining and service is slow when you can actually manage to locate assistance.It was acceptable, but for the money I'd say there are other movie taverns with a better value for the money.
