I am a frequent patron of various Chili's restaurants because my son has severe food allergies. Specifically, he is allergic to milk, eggs, beef, butter, nuts and fish. But by some miracle, none of those things are in Chili's original BBQ ribs. He can't have any other of the sides except for mandarin oranges, so we get him two servings of that. Furthermore, he can have none of the appetizers with the exception of the chips and salsa and believe me, he eats an full serving of it each time we go. We've never had a mishap at a Chili's one single time and for that, they will have my undying business. The service is typically solid no matter where we go. But for some reason, my entire family has noticed that the tortilla chips that they make at the location at 75th Street and Lemont Road in Downers Grove are 100% of the time OVER cooked. Both the color, the flavor and the texture of the chips are different from EVERY OTHER location that we have been to (about 20, nationally over the years). I guess I never really thought about it until last night when he said something about it and I have to agree.....the tortilla chips are both excessively greasy and overcooked....but ONLY at this location. It's probably just us being ridiculous since we have nothing but good things to say about Chili's in general since a couple things are friendly to my son. But this one thing alone takes this particular location down from VERY GOOD overall to a little bit less than that.

My family has always loved the unique burger combinations that Shanahan's offers, and if you happen to visit them on a Monday, all burgers are $5.00. How can you beat that!! The service is always friendly and families can enjoy their meal in the front room, leaving the bar area for other patrons. Also, I have attended an office function there and the food was amazing - especially their chicken.

Best reuben sandwich I've had accompanied by fresh made chips. Also, the All You Can Eat Seafood was also quite good. Initially, you choose two items from fried oysters, clam strips, calamari, cod or shrimp. Thereafter, you can continue reordering one selection at a time. Kudos to our server, Khrystina. She was sweet, helpful and most accommodating.

Casual dining in a rustic atmosphere has made The Country House Restaurants a west suburban favorite for more than 35 years. The Clarendon Hills Country House is a great spot for a quick business lunch, a relaxed dinner, or just to have a cocktail with yo
On a bus trip ,this restaurant was included in our packet. The food that was served to the group was alittle different than the rest of the restaurant. The White Fish was served dry and overcooked. Some of the guest did get their meal replaced but I was told it seemed as if they had defrosted which made the fish very wateree in taste..I had the roast beef and it taste as if it came out of a can.I was not impressed by the food or service.

We went to Carriage Greens for dinner with another couple and had a good meal as usual. My wife had the broasted chicken and I had the Parma pork chops-they were both very good. They also serve a good salad and the soup is usually good too. We often go there on Friday or Sunday evening and they have a pretty good crowd. This was a Monday evening, and there weren't many people there so the service was very good.

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud
Pleasantly surprised when the quoted 30-minute wait on a Friday night turned into only ten minutes. Greeters were friendly. Server was efficient and helpful. No problem with multiple checks. The parmesan crusted chicken with mac and cheese was yummy. The side of tomato & mozzarella is really good.Their Stripes program is worth having. One thing I wish they'd do is give you more chips with the salsa. Ten chips for two people was a bit skimpy. Overall good value and taste. Like that they open doors when you leave, and thank you for stopping by.

We liked our pizza well enough, the think crust was quite crispy, the way I like it and sauce, cheese and toppings OK--not too greasy in my book. Service was a bit on the slow-side however, not bad, but enough to be noticeable. We'd go again, but also look at other choices as well. P.S. Why was a sports bar playing CNN on a college football night???

Of all their business ventures, starting as the bagel boys, this is my favorite. It is quieter than the sports bars, and has more menu options. We enjoyed a nice family dinner, for a moderate price, in a relaxing yet interesting atmosphere. (Check out the ceilings and artwork) Service and facilities exceeded expectations. And the food? Well, we just put it on the "local favorites" list.

Zazzo's has served hot, fresh pizza, pasta, and bar favorites in Darien, IL for over 25 years! Check out our weekday lunch buffet in our urban space.
Went here because we heard the pizza was great but we were not really impressed. They definitely have the bar atmosphere and an extensive menu for dining. Everything is way overpriced for the location/quality/quantity. $20 range for a cheese pizza. Pizza is alright but nothing proprietary. Ours was under-baked. Also had minestrone soup - 0 flavor. Eggplant sub had more fried batter than actual eggplant on it, couldn't find the eggplant. Mostaccioli was also rough. Unfortunately the service was not great either. We called ahead to order our pizza because we heard it takes a while, and then took about 25 minutes for the two entrees we ordered at the restaurant, when only one other table was there. Really, truly, so many better options out there than here. Maybe order their pizza for carry-out, but still way over-priced.We appreciate the review and truly apologize for your experience. If you check our Facebook page or website we have many great coupons and offers that can lower the bill! We hope you give it a look and see us again soon!

BBQ, Cajun & Southern Cuisine. Serving breakfast on the weekends only; Over 120 Craft beers with 31 on tap! We do carry-out, delivery, catering, in-house parties, and banquets.
Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe is located in the same building as the Chateau Orleans banquet hall. We attended a memorial luncheon for a co-worker and found that the luncheon menu was directly from Chuck's Southern Comfort Cafe. For Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe there is an outdoor patio that is shaded that fronts on Cass Ave. As you walk in to the main entrance, if you go to the left you are in the banquet hall, but if you go to the right, you are in Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe. We started with soup and salad. We had browned chicken, pulled pork and mashed potatoes. The chicken was tender, as was the pulled pork. Really good for a catered luncheon. The staff was pleasant and efficient. Though we have been to the other Chuck's Southern Comforts Cafe in Burban, this Darien location is a bit closer, so I'm sure that we'll be back.
