The Lounge Bar offers seasonal, a la carte dishes on its seafood-inspired menu. Home-baking and Illi coffee are available year-round. Families welcome.
After a tiring day and staying in the hotel we had no wish to travel further in the evening, so we ate in the lounge bar. Decent menu and the food was fine. Pleasant outlook. The public bar sounded a bit raucous at times but not really an issue.

My husband and I stayed here as booked through a tour company. Our cabin room was quaintly decorated with a comfortable bed and furnishings. The shower and sitting areas, inside and outside, were very nice. The restaurant served the most amazing food. My salmon was so delicious and ample that I left fully satisfied. The service was friendly and attentive.

At the northern end of Loch Lomond and 27 miles from Rob Roy's grave, this vibrant stone-built inn opened in 1705 as a cattle drovers' lodging. Set between the main house and a lodge, the casual, individually styled rooms, most with traditional tartan car

Amazing old world atmosphere with five different eating areas incorporating the main bar and public bar. Terrace outdoors. 18 individually furnished bedrooms with unique and quirky features. Live music every Friday and Saturday.
Our B&B host said we had to have lunch here based on our fascination with history. Frankly, we would never have walked into The George as it looked more like a hotel entrance. But the pub was just off the main hall and truly felt liked we had time-traveled back in history. Small rooms, wood tables, blazing fireplace, great bar, good fish n chips. Atmosphere was better than the food, but a very pleasant respite here.

We recently did a road trip to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and stopped here for a lunch on the way to Glencoe from Glasgow.I'm always a bit wary of pub lunches but we ventured inside as we were hungry. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of thew food. I ordered a soup and a Vegetarian burger with fries - both were well cooked, well presented and very tasty especially the fries. My wife ordered Fish and Chips which came beautifully cooked and my son ordered Chicken Tyndrum with haggis and whisky source. Not only was the food excellent but the prices were very reasonable considering how most restaurants in the region overcharge because of the masses of tourist.Parking was very easy and free wifi was also available

We - The Fraser family and our team extend a warm welcome in the best traditions of Scottish hospitality to one of the oldest Coaching Inns in the Highlands. We are a 3 star Inn, the Inn has been in the Fraser family for over 45 years and we aim to please
The menu is nicely varied, and a lot of local produce is used. I can recommend their sharing platters, either shared as a starter, or for one person as a main. Everything was delicious and well presented, and the prices reasonable.

Country pub with freshly cooked bar meals open in evenings. Good selection of food with special needs catered for on request. Range of beers on tap and wide choice of malt whiskies. Very friendly pub, families and dogs welcome. We are only open from mid Ma
Jim and Sally were very welcoming and helpful. Bruce (barman) and the locals (including Cliff from Loch Awe boat hire) were very friendly. We stayed here in the Study for a week in September 2018 and it was very relaxing. We didn't have the best week weather wise but this didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. Food and drinks in the bar were very good (a great choice of whiskies). Some nice walks from the house and Oban, Kilmartin, and Inverary are all within 1 hours drive and are well worth visiting. We enjoyed playing carpet bowls one day when the weather was so bad we didn't want to leave the house, Jim also advised us that because the bar does not open until 6PM we could take our own drinks into the bar.

We stayed locally at Ardanaseig and loved this casual, cosy place. This place feels like a labour of love for the couple who run it. Great food and lovely service. Iâm

We typically research the restaurant we're going to eat at, but on this rainy day we needed to find something on the fly that was nearby Hollow Mountain. We stopped in here and are so glad that we did. The food was top quality and our server was exceptionally nice and accommodating.
