Things to do in Cupar
Tried this new cafe in Cupar for the first time today. I had the toffee cheesecake and it was so delicious, my husband had the eclair. The cheesecake was served with toffee sauce and cream, and the eclair was served with raspberry sauce and cream. Bit of a sugar overload, couldn't have this everyday - but nice for a treat. The staff were young, friendly, and polite.Prices were not too bad - £11 for two latte coffees and two cakes.Just a small cafe, but bright and freshly decorated. Will definitely visit again.
Have visited a few times since the catering at Cupar golf club has been taken over. Staff are friendly, there is a really good selection of drinks, prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. Always very well made and good portions. Highly recommended.

Took friends here from Singapore and we wanted lunch we were told they couldn't serve us lunch. So had drinks instead, bar person ( think it was the owner) was not the friendless of people, place appeared run down from when I had previously visited, not surprisingly it's on the market. This pub used to be a lovely quaint village pub with friendly welcoming owners, definitely gone downhill.

We visited this wonderful gem of an establishment in the village of Springfield , near Cupar for high tea on Mother's Day and the home-cooked food was outstanding . The tavern itself is cosy and quaint with a lovely atmosphere and Brian the proprietor is a charming man . Our teenage son loved the macaroni cheese and is already requesting a return visit . Everything was top drawer and I highly recommend a visit to this excellent and atmospheric Tavern . We will certainly be back , well done .

An 18th century coaching inn serving good quality home cooked meals and chargrilled steaks in a traditional beamed ceiling bar or a quieter, family friendly dining room.
We had mothers day lunch at the Strath Tavern on Sunday,I had the fish which i have had many times and this was up to the usual excellent standard. ,My wife and daughter had one of the specials on offer (roast beef and Yorkshires) also excellent. We have eaten here on numerous visits and have never been disappointed with either the quality and variety on offer Thank you very much for your comments. We very much value all of our all of our customers and appreciate the continued support we receive from both regular local residents and visitors alike. I look forward to welcoming you again in the future.
