Visited the Over the Rhine area today and stopped in for lunch at Kruegerâs. With so many choices in OTR, I was expecting a good meal and we were not disappointed. They are known for their homemade burgers and sausage, so I decided to skip my ânormalâ order of a salad for lunch. Instead, I ordered their spicy burger. The waiter said it was an 8 out of 10 on the hotness scale, so he suggested that I ask for the spicy slaw on the side. The burger was delicious. Two thin patties with pepper jack cheese and spicy pickles â very juicy! I thought it was going to be too hot after the first bite, but that was not the case â I just had to get my mouth âwarmed upâ. I also had an order of French fries on the side to share â they were very good, just the right crispness and seasoning. The rest of the group also enjoyed their food, which included the Lincolnshire sausage, a veggie burger, a strawberry salad with chicken, and a small kale salad. All the food was excellent. Service was also very good and efficient. My only disappointment was the draft beer list â no darker beers (stouts, porters or malts). Though they had a large selection of bottles and cans, mainly craft beers. Try it, you will like it.

On our trip in town we meet up with other family members the first night at Barleycorns. We were a large group on 9 so we were not expecting the fastest of services on this evening. At first things seemed okay as the waiter was right on it with getting our drinks ordered and out to us. But, that's as good as it would get. With so many of us we had quite a few dishes brought out. Some looked quite good, but everyone pretty much felt like everything was fairly average, well, all but 2 of us. For the 2 of us the meal couldn't have gone worse. It wasn't until the rest of our group was almost done that the waiter came out to apologize for the missing chicken wings. He promised they would be right out and that we needed to leave room for desert (making us believe there would be desert on the house). But wait, five or six minutes later chicken wings did come out, but for another table who ordered after us. Waiter did come back to apologize again and said he noticed another table got the wings, but again said... they're on the way. By this time the rest of our group had their fill. So, after another short wait our wings and potato skins finally made their way out. The wings were so underwhelming it didn't help how we felt. And, the skins, well, they were fairly blah and oily. So, no points won back after the dismal service. After we all left everyone else made it clear there was nothing special about any of their meals to ever get them wanting to come back after the service fell so flat.Oh, and we never did get desert... probably because the bill came before we were even done with the wings and skins. The waiter lacked and customer service skills and left us with a bad taste.Hi, Dan. Thanks for the message. We pride ourselves on providing the very best customer service and experience, but clearly we dropped the ball here. I would love the opportunity to speak with you about your visit and try to make things right. Please reach out to me directly at [email protected] and I will promptly follow up. Again, I am very sorry we failed to exceed (or even meet) your expectations. We are always looking to improve and I hope to speak with you soon. I appreciate your business.

Stopped for a quick beer and tour of the facility with a promise to ourselves to come back. Beer was outstanding especially (in my opinion) the porters. A huge walking tour group came in while we were there and that enlivened things considerably. The bar tenders were unflappable and everyone was served quickly and efficiently and settled in the enjoy the wide selection of delicious fresh brews. Next trip we will stay for food but we had too little time this trip! If you love history this is the place for you!

Traveling with another couple, wanted to find a place with a good variety of food so everyone would have something they like! This was the perfect place, they have a huge menu of delicious food, and daily specials. Excellent cocktails, great service, really neat atmosphere in a rehabbed part of town that has all kinds of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. This was just an overnight stop on a pre-planned trip, but we all plan to come back someday just to hang out in the Mainstrasse area!!

Small interior with picnic table seating. Menu is written on a chalkboard behind the bar. Several types of sausages to choose from and good sides available like brussels sprouts, red cabbage, asparagus, etc. Many bottled beers and several on tap. Order at the bar. We took our drinks outside to one of seven picnic tables and the food was brought to us. The curry wurst and the mett were very good and a different texture than what I am used to. I would definitely order them again. This is a very casual place. I enjoyed my meal there but the place could be so much better outside. Where we sat was amongst straw, dirt, and weeds on old weathered picnic tables. Just a little spruce up would do wonders for the Wunderbar.

This place just recently opened in our neighborhood, and it'a seemingly always packed. Does have good parking availability, and it's conveniently next door to Graeter's. Now you know where to go for dessert. But, wife and I have been here a few times. Menu is somewhat limited but you have to realize - they specialize in burgers. Not just the Applebee's Friday type of stuff either. These are honest to goodness gourmet burgers. We've tried the Bourbon Burger, the Mexican and wife has even tried the pulled pork. Her comment was - not as good as the burger. I had the chicken strip appetizer last time I was here and I was totally expecting frozen cheapie chicken, but not the case. This was good, crispy and tender white meat. Grab some fries or onion rings and some iced tea and you have a nice meal. Highly recommended and will go back again.

From the outside, you might have second thoughts! It was recommended to us as a good place to eat with reasonable prices. We were given good advice. A very comfortable restaurant. The employees are friendly, the owner makes an effort to great the customers. We were a little chilled and had our coats over our shoulders. He told us, next time if you are cold, the thermostat is over there, feel free to turn it up! I had the Hans and Franz with French fries. The burgers are very tasty. Everyone in our group agreed it was worth returning for our next trip to Kentucky!

We really enjoyed our meal at Incline Public House. It was conveniently located near our Air B and B. Grant, our server, was very attentive. Our orders included the Standard Hamburger and the Philly Cheese Steak. Both sandwiches were great and the fries, crispy and flavorful. We chose not to sit on the patio because of the 93 degree heat. After eating, we stopped and were able to see the view of Cincinnati from the patio balcony; it was amazing!

We had a group of 10 for an early dinner. Our server was very attentive and told us to take our time since this was the first visit for all of us. Our food arrived in a decent amount of time and we were all pleased except for one. Her food was cold. She sent it back and it was not much better and the chicken was not done. Someone, whom I think was probably an owner or manager, came and offered to fix whatever she wanted at no charge. I had a Cajun chicken pasta dish. It was very good and very spicy. Others had reubens and said they were good. I would recommend this place to others.
