We visited here with friends for lunch. Food was delicious and service was really good. The decor is typical of a country pub.Would recommend and will definitely return.

Community country pub honouring wholesome food and fine ales in a perfect part of Shropshire. Local campsites & holiday cottages make it a worthwhile retreat.
We ordered a steak which was beautiful it came out first then after 2 minutes the sauce came out,we had nearly finished our steak before the chips arrived. The barmaid very rude because our dog cocked his leg up we were then told we had to sit outside. I thought this was a dog friendly pub, any dog owner knows that sometimes dogs do this on new territory.

My friends and I visited for a meal on Saturday. We were served by professional.and competent staff. The food was excellent. However, once the main course had been served it was as if the managers had left the building. Young staff sat chatting with their friends around the bar or at tables . No one asked if we had enjoyed our main course or checked whether we wanted a desert. We became the last table in the building and it was obvious that we were going to get no further service so we payed and left. This has been my go to place when friends visit but I am going to have to look elsewhere. Which is a shame as the food is excellent.

We stopped here on our first night of our week break in Upper Norton. The pub was busy but the locals were friendly and made room at the bar for us. We ordered a pint of ale and a glass of wine which came to £6.60, very reasonable. The landlord is very friendly and told us they served Sunday lunch and informed us of some other pubs that served good food.

Country Pub and Restaurant set in the area of outstanding natural beauty in the South Shropshire Hills. Home to great food and drink and in a great location just off the A49 The Station Inn is also home to 6 beautiful heated camping pods, a camping field
Ate here at lunchtime, after a recommendation from a friend. I had the station burger, which was cooked medium and to perfection, it was absolutely delicious, and for once I could taste everything in the burger, the cheese was yummy, and the burger was juicy and lovely. My partner had a 10oz flat iron steak, med rare, and it was to die for, came with lovely chunky chips and mushrooms. All were delicious, and we will definitely be returning.

We came across this lovely pub as the one we were in had a power cut. It was welcoming and friendly, as the evening went on it had a lovely village community vibe to it, but not one of those places where you feel like an alien and everyone stares at you. The staff were lovely and there was a good selection of beers on. The food is what you expect for pub grub but reasonably priced and well cooked. We had our dog with us but this wasn't a problem and we ate at the back of the bar area.

Had another wonderful meal with three friends. Pub grub superbly cooked and plenty of it. The pie dinner of the day, pork and black pudding this time, was wonderful. Excellent value for money. The staff are extremely helpful and ensure that everything is to your liking. Lovely atmosphere and good beer. Well worth a visit.

The heading probably says it all ... we have visited on several occasions including 2 evening meals this year in July. The food, drink and service are all excellent.Pleasant & efficient staff, clean tables, tasty meals. My Steak & ale pie being particularly delicious.Over the years the main eating area has evolved and is now less like a barn, with appropriate decorations for this home of a local brew.Hello, Thank you for your lovely feedback! Itâs great that you have had another great visit to us for the fifth year in a row! The plough has changed its image over those years but the aim of delivering great food, great service and great beer has always stayed the same and itâs a pleasure to read that this is still evident! Thank you so much for visiting us and for taking the time to leave this great review! We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit! Kind Regards, Toby, Terri & the team

Hadnât been here for a while as itâs a bit a lot a trek for us - however itâs so worth it. The food was amazing king prawns and mushrooms to start followed by sirloin steak ( melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection) no room for puddings as the portions were very generous. The atmosphere in the pub was lovely. Eating area was good and the drinking side was bursting with locals. Faultless evening and great food. Wonât be leaving it so long next time!

Settled amongst the rolling South Shropshire countryside in the picturesque village of Clunton is the Crown Inn. A real country pub set in the lovely Clun Valley, an area recognised for its outstanding natural beauty. The Inn offers warm local hospitality
Was taken to the Crown for dinner, whilst visiting some friends in Clun. We live in Canada. Greeted by a very friendly bar lady then went into the restaurant .Menu explain by the Landlady. Great meals all with lovely flavours. Especially liked the cheese board , which I shared with my friend. Shall definitely be visiting again when we return to Clun , in August
