Traveling on the road 24/7 means eating questionable meals. That is so NOT the case at Cosmos Grill. I ate there several times; why mess with a good thing? I had the Greek salad (which, btw, they make sure to only use PITTED Kalamata olives, which is VERY rare to find!), their burgers and the wings. The burgers are "build it your way" style, and were perfection on a bun, or in my case, I chose the Texas Toast option. The wings? Fuggedaboutit! OMG! I got the garlic/parm wings which I thought couldn't be replaced, UNTIL, I tried the sweet bacon wings. Yes, bacon wings. These are like CRACK, you have GOT to try them! All of the staff is impeccably trained, I would question if I've ever had better, more consistant service anywhere. The GM Vince, and owner Donna are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet.People drive from miles around to get the food here, and I sure know why. STOP IN!!!

This is a family owned and operated microbrewery with rustic cedar-trimmed tasting room and comfortable beer garden with charcoal grills for BYO meals. Full view of production area from the bar. Interesting variety of styled and style-bending beers master
MicroBrewery in Cookeville. A little obscure to find, closer to interstate than the the college. If you're on a roadtrip would be good place to stretch your legs. Definitely has good brew and tons of old fashion fun. A Britain type game called Bar Skittle and some tables large enough for groups to meet and play various board games, (or hand carved games) and of course drink fair priced, fun beer. It is a nonelectronic blast from the past with unusual and probably " new to you" gaming. They have good background music yet you don't need to shout to visit. A food truck may be there like Yaki Wiz Asian cuisine. Or just grab a to go box from Interstate drive and hang out. No food is served. But you can do your own thing. It is a great family run business. Cheers!!

Coming north from I-40 we are the first Suite on your right in a shopping plaza across the street from an Office Max and Tractor Supply Store. We are located on the corner of Commerce and Jefferson, there is a light. Look for the Big Green Shamrock. There
If you don't like smoke, don't go here. Even though there was no one smoking during our visit, the smoke smell was overwhelming.Very few Irish items and no traditional Irish dishes, I had the "Irish Roast Beef Dip". There was no rosemary or thyme seasoning on the beef that I could tell, and the au jus tasted like beef broth with no additional seasonings. My wife had the fish and chips and she said they were excellent. This is really an American Sports Bar.The $6.00 lunch price was the bright spot, but not enough to bring me back again.

We were visiting Cookeville. We were having a beer at Red Silo and noticed the menu on the table for 37 Cedar. So I walked over and placed a to-go order. First off, this is a cool looking restaurant. The owners did a fantastic job, especially with the bar area. I placed our order and while waiting met the owner and got a bit of the history. I wonât spoil it for you so ask if you go there. The service was quick and the food very good. When we go back weâll dine in so that we can enjoy more of the menu.

My server was a southern sweetheart and very helpful. The coconut cream pie was excellent and large enough to feed two. Food... not so great. I received cold pulled pork. Not even slightly warm. Mac & cheese was overcooked and rubbery cold. Toast and corn was the only thing really okay. I would not recommend it since the whole area is bombarded with better restaurants.Thank you for the review, we always appreciate our customers feedback. We are so terribly sorry that you did not have a great experience with us. It is our priority to give each of our guests a wonderful experience and we are so sorry that we let you down. On the other hand we are glad to hear that you enjoyed the coconut cream pie and received great service, but still would like to make this right, so please give me a call when you have a chance.-Chad, General Manager 931-372-7100
Where to eat Italian food in Cookeville: The Best Restaurants and Bars

The inside of the restaurant was very comfortable. I ordered a burger/fries and my husband ordered the filet/baked potato/side salad. We started with chips/guacamole. The guacamole was excellent as was the side salad. That's when it went south for me.I will never understand why a restaurant puts pepper on so many things. My burger and the fries were covered with pepper/seasoning (I've never had a burger come peppered). I sent it back and did not order another one because we had a limited amount of time to eat. Some people don't like pepper so they should automatically ask you (or mention on the menu that it's peppered/seasoned) if you want the extra pepper added on top and give you the option of not getting extra added. Thank goodness my husbands filet/potato were good so I could nibble on his meal.

The atmosphere is great. The food was delicious with some minor flaws. Service was somewhat slow for a Saturday. The pretzel appetizer was very tasty especially the mustard dip. Our steak sandwich was good except they forgot the fried peppers that were supposed to be on it.
