Located in an old funeral chapel, this brewery has a soulful vibe with stained glass windows and high arches. The bartender offered us a couple of samples to taste. The Coconut Love Shadow was amazing - not too sweet, just a hint of coconut, but still a rich dessert in a glass.

Pretty popular eatery, does get crowded, but the staff handles things very well. Plenty of seating, laid back atmosphere. Good place to hang out for some beer with peanuts and burger.

What do you do after being handed the keys to the oldest bar (est. 1888) in Grand Rapids? Simply putânot much. Sometimes a classic needs to remain a classic. To be completely honest, we made a few alterations (new kitchen, new patio, and a banquet room),
Local watering hole. Service is good and beer and drinks reasonably priced. Great spot to get a beer with friends. Not sure they have any food service to speak of.Thanks for reviewing your recent visit. We serve a variety of food: pizza, nachos, burritos and much more. We love being part of the Comstock Park community! Thanks again. Hope to see you soon!!

Go there every time we visit GR. Great wet burritos and other Mexican and American dishes. Service always friendly and fast. Just a great hangout for local food.

Sat at the bar and had a nice friendly chat with Kelli about the food and beer. I was very pleased! The beer (had the hefe) and the olive burger, and I recommend them both. Most importantly, make sure Kelli is your server! She was the hardest worker in the place and still made her customers feel welcome. Thanks Kelli!

Our menu reflects classic English dishes that have been influenced by the days of the British colonies in India; where colonists learned to appreciate the many spices and curries that soon worked their way back to England and onto the supper tables. So si
We have drive by this place for 7 years and never realized it was there. Finally stopped in and are glad we did. It is a pub type atmosphere, with friendly service and pretty good food. The prices are commensurate with the quantity and quality. Our only real complaint was that my wife's bloody mary was not great, but with a little doctoring, we got it to OK. We will be back.

I have eaten here at least 30 times. They have classic pizza as well as many unique pizzaâs. If you like pizza and beer, this is the place to go. Try to go on off hours. It can get crazy during high volume times.

Itâs been 8-10 years since our last supper. Still good food and great service. I had the chicken stir fry, one had the four piece chicken (4 large pieces), and two had the pot roast. Their rolls have always been terrific. If there was one draw back, the carrots in the pot roast were hard. Itâs like they werenât cooked.

Was pleasantly surprised by their $7 lunch specials which include half a sandwich and a soup and both were great. I had a turkey Reuben and their cheeseburger soup and my friend the pulled pork and similar soup, very tasty. Beer of course was really the main course and they naturally have a great selection, their Gold was my go to. Service was prompt during a busy lunch hour too. Only disappointment was the pretzel appetizer was essentially burnt and blah tasting, otherwise a good, affordable lunch.
