Reviews on Pub food in Coatbridge, Scotland, United Kingdom. Coatbridge (Scots: Cotbrig or Coatbrig, Scottish Gaelic: Drochaid a' Chòta) is a town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, about 8.5 miles (13.7 km) east of Glasgow city centre, set in the central Lowlands. The town, with neighbouring Airdrie, is part of the Greater Glasgow urban area. While the earliest known settlement of the area dates back to the Stone Age era, the founding of the town can be traced to the 12th century, when a Royal Charter was granted to the monks of Newbattle Abbey by King Malcolm IV. Coatbridge, along with its neighbour Airdrie, forms the area known as the Monklands.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a delicious new menu full of fresh, local produce â not forgetting the classic dishes everyone knows and loves. Our restaurant space has expanded, we now have a beautiful conservatory area â a spacious dining area
Attended on 29th October for the 1st time, a family meal including my 8 and 3 year old boys. Booked table for 5.15pm which is close to our normal eating time. Ordered food by 5.30pm after flagging the waitress. Asked for drinks and main meals. Got the drinks (5 soft drinks) around 15mins later and mains arrived 6.10pm. By that point my kids, and the adults too, were famished. Unsure why the service took so long, especially with the amount of staff present.Food was above average to be fair. Steak pie is lovely as was the chicken. We wolfed it down as we were so hungry by that point. There was some redemption when we ordered desert. Asked for a quick turn-a-round and promptly got it.Can't fault the manners of the staff either. Very pleasant and attentive without being over the top. Don't know if i'd return however the quality food may swing it.Good afternoon,Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We do aim to provide efficient service at all times. I am sorry to hear that on this occasion there was a delay in you receiving your drinks and mains. We appreciate all feedback, both good and bad, so we will take this on board for future training. I am delighted that everyone enjoyed the dishes they had and will pass this onto the head chef.We hope that you will return to Angels and we can show you that not only do we provide quality food but also great service.Kind regards,Lisa Clark
Great home cooked food very tasty big helpings good service and fab price best around coatbridge go on give it a go
The new refurb makes lovely surroundings, staff friendly and good menu choices however food was average and slightly overpriced for quality of food. It wasnt a bad meal just a bit disappointing as chicken goujons were dry/overcooked and I didnt like the chips. Steak pie was a good portion and all in all it was nice enough just not sure Id go out my way to rush back.

Beefeater opened their doors back in 1974, and were driven by a passion for glorious steak. Mouth-watering cuts at mouth-watering prices was their motto. Reassuringly nothing's changed, these things still drive them today and they always will. Beefeater b

I have to say Owens is a firm favourite with me for a lazy night when neither of us can be bothered to cook. It serves really good pub food and has a good choice on the menu.It offers affordable good food and the place has a good vibe. If you are lucky enough to get a nice hot day (reasonably rare) you can enjoy the beer garden. Another favourite after work in the summer as its local and good value.Would recommend the haggis pakora its fab. It is a popular pub so it does get busy especially on a nice day you might struggle for a seat in the beer garden but well worth a visit. They also welcome kids and have a good kids menu for a nice lunch at the weekend if you want to get out with the kids but don't want to break the bank!

We went here to try it as it was under new management, well we were not disappointed it was fantastic. Starters were just the right amount we had pate and it was very tasty. The staff were fantastic very attentive bordering on overly at times. The main courses all were superb very well presented and tasty. We spotted someone with a drink and asked what it was looked good and was told it was a candy floss martini it had wrapped candy floss around the glass followed by the usual effects of a martini and oh my let's just say you have to try it.Half way through our night a singer came on in the bar area who was really good and created a fabulous atmosphere to Finnish of our night all in all great value great atmosphere and above all fab food just what you want for a night out

Popped in for a quick bite to eat midweek before catching the train to the Hydro this Restaurant is ideal for this purpose whether you are leaving your car in the Whifflet Station car park or arriving at the Restaurant by taxi or the train itself. Service was fortunately both quick and friendly as we were pushed for time . Ordered Vegetable Pakora for starters and South Indian Garlic Chicken , Rice And Nan Bread my wife had Macaroni Cheese and Garlic Bread . Nice tasty Food , no complaints with our 4 drinks the bill came to £45 . Reasonable Prices and Nice Interior.

We went in and I honestly thought....too noisy! We sat down and I hoped my husband would agree we went elsewhere. We stayed and I ordered drinks and food via the Wetherspoons App.I got 3 for £10 small plates.Tempura King Prawns and dipSpicy chicken drumsticks 2 dipsNachos with sour cream, guacamole and dip.Absolutely superb!! And certainly not small plates! Great value. My husband Chicken Balmoral at £7.99 and he finished the lot.We stayed on for a couple of drinks.Don't be put off by the noise. We soon forgot about background noise as we tucked in to great food. The staff too are very pleasant. Hope to be back again when in the Coatbridge area.

Always happy to visit the Grange! Friendly staff and atmosphere who never hesitate to go the extra mile whenever they can required. The Grange offers a very decent, reasonably priced menu (Iâm relatively local but residents often cite this as a deciding factor over generic local hotel chains) which is complemented by an excellent range of beers...I can confirm that they do the best pint of St Mungos anywhere!Itâs also a great venue for an introduction to gin/whisky tasting due to their varied selection. All aspects considered I find it difficult to argue against a top rating.
