Casey's Bar serves all the classics you would expect form a Traditional Irish Bar and also catering for the more adventurous with a wide range of salads and stir fry's including a range of daily specials. Be sure to keep an eye out for our themed nights w
Two pints of Murphy's to start. My wife consumes her roast lamb (well-done slices a bit dry ), but when she cannot polish off the full portion of mash, local authorities threaten to remove Irish from her identity. I venture into a platter of Clonakilty Blackpudding⢠fritters (from the the brand website: "...beef, oatmeal, onions, beef blood and a secret blend of spices.")The fritters, plus jet lag, put me in a coma.Excellent service at a reasonable price.

Spent three nights in Clonakilty staying at the An Sugan, although we have visited before we had not stayed until now. The B&b is really lovely, our room was a good size and clean, breakfast was good and varied. Ideal location in the high street, worth giving it a try.

We dropped into the hotel for some food based on a family recommendation and we were not disappointed. The service was very friendly and welcoming and the choice on the menu was good. The five of us each had beautiful meals which were expertly presented and good value. Definitely one to visit if in the area

Lively bar and restaurant located at Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa. Serving the best of local produce daily. Music at weekends.
Top class place. Top class food. Top class staff. Excellent indoor and outdoor seating. One of the best places in the country to eat and relax after a day at the beach! Highly recommended.

This was nice to go to and sit and have a drink passing through in the afternoon. The regulars and the bar men were very nice and there was good chat at the bar itself. (There were some tourists of the 'gee-whizz' loud type from further west in this hemisphere who made it difficult to hear people sitting beside you but that is a hazard of these nice towns. But how kind of them to share their most intimate details with us.)

There is not much more I can say about Deasy's from the last review I did in the Summer of 2018. We visited twice for dinner over the 5 days we were in Clonakilty a few weeks ago. It delivers a very intimate style service which when added to the excellent food from the kitchen, makes you want to come back many times. I will not single out any dish (some change every night) but you must try the Asian soup and the fish special (I had hake one night and salmon the second) is usually superb. All food is very fresh with virtually everything sourced locallyThe restaurant is difficult to access and parking is very restricted (although why would you drive unless you don't want to try some of the great wines and alcohol choices available to accompany the super food) !!! Booking is essential - particularly during the Summer. Also the restaurant/put is only open 4 nights a week. So if you are in the area do visit Deasy's. It is MILES ahead of anything else that is available in Clonakilty (and surrounds) - Sugan being a far away second.

This is a lovely bar. The service is excellent and the food sublime. The menu is based on local ingredients. The seafood chowder is a particular favourite of my daughter and itâs more like a meal as itâs full of fish. My favourite is the chicken, pesto and sundried tomato sandwich on granary bread. They also have a nice wine list. This place is always full but the service is so good they will always accommodate youHi Sharon,Thank you so much for your excellent rating and very kind review. We are delighted you enjoyed your experience at Scannells and hope you join us for lunch again soon!

The Mountain House is a Steak & Seafood Bar along the Wild Atlantic Way. We serve a range of different wines and gins, along with gourmet coffees and tea. We have an outdoor heated eating area.
I visited Mountain House, Ardfield today. From the first glance it looked like your avarage gastropub, but it was anything but! I heard before that food is nice in here but when my plate arrived, my expectations were exceeded. Not only it looked like it came straight from some posh restaurant kitchen, it tasted heavenly. Scallops were cooked to perfection, and prawns with mango salsa... I am struggling to find words to describe that perfection. I was planning my next visit before even finishing my meal. I wish I could rate my visit today more then 5 stars. Simply amazing
