Fabulous wine bar in Patrick Square offering well over 100 bottles of wine, 30 by the glass offerings and create your own flights! Clemson Wine Bar has amazing food options with choose your own Charcuterie boards, delectable paninis, small plates and much
A relatively new establishment in Clemson's complex, this small wine bar has a surprisingly complete wine list featuring mainly French, California, and New York wines. Hopefully in the future they can find some from good local vineyards. Cheese and meat trays as well as wine flights or simply by the glass or bottle are on offer. Prices are a little steep for the area but not out of line for the type of restaurant. The staff is attentive as well as informative and will guide the novice wine drinker without seeming to be condescending. Wines by the glass are either 2 oz pours or 6 oz (I think) glasses. For a flight you can pick as many wines as you want to sample and you'll get each one as a 2 oz pour for the stated price on their wine list. We had a flight with two white wines, a flight of 4 rose's, and a meat and cheese tray (2 meats & 3 cheeses, pretty small servings of each) for just under $40. Definitely recommend for at least one visit.

Just a quick stop for a drink before Clemson night football game. As you might expect it was PACKED............Bartenders were hurrying around and somehow got to serve everyone. I'm no student anymore but if I was man would I love this place. Kids having a great time in the open air bar patio with music going. What a vibe Can't tell you anything about the food but if you are in Clemson go for a pregame beer or drink and enjoy

Classic college bar scene in the epicenter of Clemson, SC. Large sports bar with lots of inside & outside seating, games galore (including pool tables, punching bag, air hockey, shuffle board & more), delicious & cheap dinning with daily specials and bar
Interior leaves much to be desired but it's the college town experience and Clemson staple. Drink prices are good. Never had the food. Good place to stop by to watch a sports game and spot to hit during a football game. Nice that there's a small outdoor space also.

A truly unique casual dining experience, boasting South Carolina Low Country and Cajun Cuisines. Great BBQ and Seafood options. Belly up to the Oyster Bar and get some fresh Raw or CharGrilled Oysters shucked to order with several flavor options...VooDoo,
Visiting from out of town on Christmas Eve, we found many Clemson restaurants closed for the semester break. Palmetto's was open and accommodating. The steamed oysters were delicious. The Brunswick stew was as tasty as other reviewers described: sweet and savory. The étouffée was labeled spicy but was just right, with more flavor than heat and no lingering burn. It was loaded with sausage and shrimp. The salmon was just OK, but we enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and the cornbread was like cake, moist and sweet. The owner said that was his mother's recipe. Admittedly we were the last patrons on Christmas eve, but the server and owner were friendly and attentive and didn't rush us at all. Next time we're in town we'll be back; the oysters were a real treat.

One of the few places serving food late in the area. Great bartender and beer selection. But, the food was sub-par for this visit. Not sure I'll make it back

Basic bar food. The Cajun chickens sandwich, wings and hummus were very good. The fries were cold and inedible. The bar has yuengling and blue moon on tap. Service was slow. Great atmosphere for game day.

Average isn't bad and doesn't mean you shouldn't go. If you love pizza and don't mind overpaying a bit or are a fan of Mellow Mushroom, then you should go.We had a group of 4 and were seated right away. Service was good. They do have a variety of non-pizza choices which is good as I'm not a big pizza fan. However, they did not have fresh avocado on hand which was a big part the sandwich I chose. I like this space way better than the old house on on Greenville Hwy so from that standpoint, it's a big improvement. Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feed back. We hope you will dine with us again and try some of our awesome options that are not pizza. Stay mellow :)

Yes this is a dive bar and yes they are darn proud of it... and they should be cause its like the best dive bar ever!!!! Cheap eats ($1.25 tacos?) cold beer and really good staff... there is nothing to not like here!!! This should be required visiting at Clemson for parents who want to keep close to cool. Order the pickles, they were insanely good!

If I were writing a review based solely on the ribs, I'd give this place a 5. But there are other considerations. My sides of cole slaw and potato salad were terrible. The restaurant was very understaffed, so it took more than an hour to get the food to our large party. They are trying to hire staff (based on a sign on the door), so it will probably be better soon.

LOL, if you've been to Clemson you've probably eaten here. It's a fixture. Close to campus, filled with students and families. The other day on move-in weekend they had an abbreviated menu to speed things up. It still took a while, the place was full. All to be expected. Also went in May on a Sunday. Really recommend the pick a protein/3 veggies for $10. It's where I'll send my son on a Sunday lunch if he's tired of the cafeteria.
