We literally had the best time here during Songkran!! Even if they drinks weren't great (which they are) and incredibly well priced (which they are) we would still come here for CC and Nid! The hospitality here is amazing!! We have a 2 year old and she loved being with them more than us! They are so much fun and caring. We come here every time we visit and are never disappointed.

this place looks nice, clean and in good location, but the food is just ok. i am from Europe and over-there barbaque is something more tasty and not so bland. anyway recommended if you are a meat lover.

Unpretentious jazz bar playing actually a variety of decent music. Can buy beer from 7/11 and stand on street if you are short.

On the plus points, it really feels like a little bit of Britain has been transported to Thailand. It's not exactly perfect and feels a little too bar like but it's as close as dammit an English pub experience with food. They even have a pub quiz! It was filled with Brits when I was there, I had British food and was drinking British drinks. The food though was very average. I wasn't impressed at all. I could have been eating in a Weatherspoons. As a taste of home, it was welcomed but the food could most certainly have been better. It's all very expensive too although to be fair that's probably to be expected but the price was higher than I would have liked. The owner comes across as really rather arrogant and aloof. Before posting this review I was reading reviews others have written. Woe to anybody that dares write a negative review because each one has a scathing "we can do no wrong" response from the owner - as this one will probably get. Of course, he is going to deny it but read the negative reviews and the responses and decide for yourself. I think it's going to be pretty clear cut. If a place can't accept criticism it's never going to be the best it can be. Travelling for months in Asia, and loving the food, I was feeling like a little taste of home and this hit the spot. If you are curious about UK food or you are from here and fancy a taste of home you could do, I am sure, far worse than here. A recommendation but not a hearty one."Arrogant & aloof" - would it be fair to mention stones and glass houses. As this reviewer suggests I'd invite everyone to read this and my previous responses to decide if I'm "scathing" or acknowledging the review and defending our service and produce. I'm old school and refuse to answer with an all positive PC script as I feel it lacks honesty.Sorry if you feel the food was average but then again we are in Thailand and our sausages, pies and other western dishes aren't sourced from the local artisan down the road and are all made from scratch. Your review says you'd only been eating local food and therefore i'd ask you to consider your basis for comparison (Weatherspoons?). So in that context I truly thank you for the recommendation. Oh and the "aloof" owner is only in for the Tuesday quiz & Friday evenings. His lovely wife and extended Thai family will look after you the majority of the time.
