Beach-Restaurant with a cool and zen attitude around a nice pool with gazebos and sunbeds, perfect for relaxing after a good meal, tapas, french cuisine, asian specialties, a good mix of international food for all tastes, along with a selection of local f
Nestling on the side of the Luberon hills the Gazebo is a surprising and somewhat eccentric place - not exactly typical of Provence - with the sort of oriental (Bali?) decor that wouldn't necessarily suggest confidence in the cuisine. However we really enjoyed dining there twice during our stay in the region. The welcome was very friendly, and at least two of the staff spoke excellent English. The food is an eclectic mixture of styles from across the globe: we shared the Mixed Tapas as a starter (25â¬, but it would have fed four!) which was a huge plateful containing tuna tataki, chicken satay, a Japanese-style roll, tomato bruschetta, Chinese spring rolls, vegetable samosas, fish balls, onion rings, fried cheese, chips and assorted dips and sauces etc. After that we each struggled through a generous main course of Vitello Tonnato but then - full - had to watch others eating very tempting-looking ice-cream sundae-style sweets. The local viognier wine (19â¬) was splendid with all these flavours. The restaurant is not for the classical or fussy eater, nor for the faint-hearted, but we loved it and hope it's well-established by next summer when we return to the area.Thank you very much for your nice comment!!We will be open for sure next year and hope to welcome you again. All the best,

We went for a casual light dinner. Since it seemef such good value, I opted for the 3-course 13⬠menu: shrimp samosas, good, baby lamb chops, excellent, and chocolate cake, good. My husband ordered the 4- cheese pizza which had small rouds of a soft rinded cheese on top, very good. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Don't be put off by the exterior - the approach along the main road doesn't promise much. And the menu board on display doesn't sound very exciting. However, the waiter was helpful and friendly, and the choices that were available on the night included some freshly cooked specials. The stuffed tomatoes were great. Pizzas were generously topped, steak was good, and the chips were delicious. Some of us managed deserts, and again the special of creme brûlée was very good, as were other choices. As there were eight of us, we were able to test the menu pretty thoroughly; it was all good. And all for about £16 a head including a generous amount of drinks and tip. Recommended.
