We had heard about the decorated cup of cappuccino here so we sat down in the outside seating area across from the main entrance. It was a beautiful day and the setting was just right, lots of flowers in bloom all around. Two of our group ordered the cappuccino and two ordered a local beer. The cappuccino came beautifully decorated like an art project, too pretty to drink almost.We also enjoyed our ice cold beer while watching other tourists walk by. Our server was very nice and helpful and seemed to enjoy talking with her customers about where we were visiting from. This is a must do in Certaldo.

Country coffee bar where you can taste Tuscan specialties, good wines and unique cocktails. Panoramic garden overlooking the hillsides and a new inner room. Tourist info point , local organic food selection, art exhibit and live music.

The place is nicely placed on top of a hill with view of farming fields and Tuscany hills in the background. However, the great view could not make up for the average food. The menu is more suited to lunch and snacks than afternoon/night dining, and was in general not that inspiring. The service could also be improved as we found ourselves waiting for a waiter quite some time. The idea of the place is good, though, and could develop into something really nice considering the honest prices and laid back vibes.
